John Wetton remains my favorite singer of all-time. The way my grandfather cherished the great Perry Como, equals the love I have for the way John Wetton phrased his words in song. I was too young (9-10) when /ASIA\ made the US touring rounds in 1982-83. But when the PHOENIX arose again in 2006, I saw him and Geoff and Carl (and Steve / Sam) every possible chance I could up until 2014. I never felt like "one night" was enough. I just admired his songcraft so much - I LOVED watching him perform his lyrics before my eyes. RIP John Wetton. It's a pleasure to see how much /ASIA\ and Crimson fans still appreciate you in 2021 and beyond. "Ride Easy, my friends." - Douglas

Couldn't agree more. Regarding Genesis...Although that would have made for a fascinating alternate history, it also means we never would have heard A trick of the Tail and other fantastic Collins-era albums, nor probably UK and Asia. I'm thankful for what we got.

​@@SWog617yep, l've heard some artist have the track run in their in-ear monitors so the performance looks live. Too bad it's not live. Caught the last King Crimson US tour in 74 Wetton's voice is very good live but is an exceptional bassist. Personally l think he got to flex his bassist muscles more with Fripp than with Howe as Howe did in Yes. l think Asia was more about making hit records than their prog rock backgrounds. I don't blame them, as some point these guys had to say "let's write some hits, tour extensively and make alot of money!" Fortunately they had the talent to make it happen. Does anyone remember U.K. with Allan Holds worth and Eddie Jobson?

Asia was one of my favorite bands from the early 80s. If I'm not mistaken, this song, "Heat of The Moment ", came out in 1982. I was 19 years old then. I think KZbin is definitely, the closest thing we would ever had, as a "Time Machine"!✌❤🤘
