The 80s was incredible...All the new sounds coming out all the time. The new wave was exciting, the ska /mod scene in so cal was fun. It was a good set up for the 90s. Hasn't been anything like it since. I was so bummed when MTV started to play the glam rock/GNR ...I knew the times were coming to a close.

I was fortunate enough to have experienced this song in real time back in the 80's. The opening riff of this song just touches my heart in a way I can't fully explain. It brings back memories of my teen years. Listening to my 80's boom box radio late night in my teen bed room. This has to be the best performance of this song. So many teen memories of this music group. Happy memories. I can't explain it better.

I must have listened to “points on a curve” at least 300 times in the 80s. It’s one of those albums I know by heart and can play in my mind. Looking at that set up, a very robust drum kit and percussion kit… mostly needed for this song.
