They just think the NBA is 10x better than the Euro league or French league, but the truth is that these European players are pro bball players, some (A lot actually) are former NBA players, so the level is high, and when you add the fact that in Europe the court is smaller, the game is only 40min not 48min, and their is no 3 second violation so the big men can camp under the rim, so the spacing is horrible and it’s just tougher to score, last season Wemby averaged 21ppg i believe, AND HE WAS THE TOP SCORER, so Americans must understand that these league are really close to the NBA, just like the MLS and the Premier league, some of the best European teams like Real could beat a lot of NBA teams, they already did …

He honest, no bias, actually played the game and can analyzed the Game from 3rd person and Player's perspective at the same time. "...not as aesthetically pleasing." I'm a Spurs fan and I've listened to commentators tell me the Spurs are boring for years. Beautiful cuts, pocket passes, and good defence is aesthetically pleasing. Winning is aesthetically pleasing. Dwight Howard and Russel Westbrook are 100s on physical freakishness and 0 basketball IQ...where are they? Everyone wants Tre Young to the Spurs; I'll take Luka any day of the week. Anecdotally people want to see the flashy stuff but people enjoy the more fundamental games because the hyper athleticism is always going to be there. Fundamentals have dropped off a cliff. Jokic can potentially be the GOAT over Michael

Thank you jmac. That was an awful job by Green. Players like Ja almost never adjust their games and become barely a shadow of what they were early on. Luka and Jokic are simply much better than those guys and only a certain demographic cares about dunks. Agility is not something anybody doubted for Wembanyama. I’m so tired of hearing about new media and how great ex players are. Outside of people like Legler and JJ, they’re simply too dumb to give intelligent analysis and are too biased. It’s embarrassing.
