Said this on the Ross McCormack gets a lot of flak on the normal podcasts(myself included) but he’s genuinely good at interviewing people and getting them to relax & open up. Danny Murphy in less than 10 mins is explaining about his childhood and how it was complex & they didn’t even push that agenda just natural conversation. Credit where it’s due sensational.

@@darrenfearn8587 got to say - Slaney is naturally funny, that's real personality. But I feel si tries too hard, for me anyway. Has to try to be funny or talks smut trying to be funny. Whereas Slaney is natural and it's genuine persona he has. But I do enjoy it most times. Aw aye, a lot of it is a kid-on way Slaney but he's just got that naturally funny character. Glad it's reaching an audience doon south, though 👍🏻 My man worked down south for 4years & I used to fly down to Exeter in a toaty wee plane. From the minute I arrived at the toaty wee airport that was like my local community hall, to travelling all over the beautiful West Country - nobody understood a feckn word I said. We stayed in a few lovely different places on the south West Coast. It was blinking frustrating, I'd been more understood on the continent 😆 🤣 nae joke. I was knocked back umpteen times way Scottish £££ - a Scottish 5vr bamboozled them !! Monopoly money 🤦🏻♀️ There was nae irnbru in most places, I drink diet so I was gubbed, this was just before smartphones came out. Exeter was the only place we got it. No on the coast. One guy running a wee grocery store, like the way shops were before they sold over to spar and nisa and aw that, his own wee shop for about 100yrs - he'd never heard of barrs irnbru !! I was honestly blew away. Plus, as you may know, the Scottish (PARTICULARLY glasweigans) love their buckfast. Now the Abbey is in Devon, whether you know that or no? But we both assumed you'd get it everywhere. Majority of places did not sell it. I couldny get o'er it. We did visit the Abbey, too. Got some in gift shop 😆 🤣 What I'm basically saying is, I get if you're away down the south coast of England you'd find it quite difficult, at first anyway, to understand them lol, I was constantly on repeat. He got used to speaking polite but I never did 😆 enjoy pal 👍🏻😉 🙋🏻♀️
