Since winning 26 from his first 30 points in the Premier League, Ange has won 50 from 105 since. By comparison, Ten Hag has won 53 points from 105. Ange is living off his first 10 matches. That’s the reality.

Danny Murphy was coming out with the predictable Spurs are a better side than Brighton and would beat them 7 times out of 10. Because of history. Spurs have undeniably been a bigger club over 100+ years.. All of which is irrelevant at this point. In actual fact the split to Tottenham is 6/4 out of the last 10 but that goes back beyond Brightons push on in the last 3 years. Blackpool, Preston, Bolton were big clubs once. Leicester have a far more glittering recent history than Spurs. But some people can't see change. Tony Bloom can, which is why he is so successful.

Murphy is partly right. Yes Porro and Udogie are not great defensively but Spurs also play without a proper defensive midfielder, who would drop back into defence when required to cover. When Porro and Udogie are caught out of position (which happens a lot) this leaves the defence very vulnerable. Why buy Archie Gray, a very good defensive midfielder and not play him or when they do never play him in defensive midfield. I can understand why he may not start the game, given his age, but when Spurs desperately needed a DM they still don’t put him on in that position. In the second half with Spurs 2-0 up Brighton pushed 4 players onto the Spurs defence each time they won the ball, so each defender had a player to mark, no spare covering players, but Spurs didn’t react to this at all and we saw what happened. It seemed as if Ange thought that means Brighton have less in midfield than us, so if we win the ball back, we can go on to score more but at 2-0 Spurs didn’t need to do this.

We convince ourselves that we are better than all these teams but we lost or drew against them. So unfortunately we are not currently better than them under AP. If it continues like this we will finish mid table. Even though we will convince ourselves that we are better than most of the 7/8/9 teams above us!! With AP we have to accept we will be “entertained” no matter what - winning doesn’t appear to be the priority hence why he will not adapt his in-game tactics. May be we have better players but the opposition have better managers that can adapt?

Funny how so many review this game as Spurs being magnificent and unplayable in the 1st half, and then they threw it away in the 2nd. I saw it the exact opposite, Brighton threw the 1st half away through a sheer lack of intensity and naivety in the defensive structure. 2nd half Brighton got that right and blew Spurs away. Brighton have more potential in their squad than Spurs do IMO. Out of all the Spurs players, the only ones I would take in the Brighton team is Van De Ven & Son.

Puffing, shaking his head the epitome of negativity. He has no right to criticise anyone else's mentality until he sorts his own out first. Post match he said..Subs and tactics are irrelevant. To win doing that is to win falsely. In the kids game. We call substitutes game changers. That's exactly what they are. Why are you in football in you do not understand that? The team is flawed. Romero loves Argentina not Spurs. He's scared of some strikers and hides. Maddison is only practising for is after playing days celebrity career. Werner needs trauma counselling. We have no characters. No leaders. We are a soulless club. Run by Corporate greedy gangsters, who think the fans are merely mug punters. And sadly most of them are. The ground is soulless too. Overpriced and built for wealthy people who like hospitality suites to impress fellow greed merchants in their degenerate lives. Spurs is dead as a social football club. The standard of football is meaningless in the long term. Will things change if Ange is sacked? No, not for long. The soul has been completely sucked out of the club as far as grass roots fans are concerned. We ain't ever getting it back I'm afraid.
