I’d say he’s my “favorite “ serial killer, if that makes sense. I can’t help but be touched by his music and artwork, and his heart of Dixie. But when I read the parts about his crimes I hate him so much. He had no remorse and thought of himself as a Jesse James type. RIP Danny, must have been absolutely fucking exhausting being you. Still not sure if I will attempt it though. I hear the evil behind the music. I feel if I attempt it I will have to fight my way back to who I am. I feel he had an alter ego or demon who was the Mystery Rider. As you can see in all his photos, look at his eyes as he gazes. Almost as if someone is talking to him in his mind. He isn’t in the room ... he is someone else ,or ...somewhere else. He is the drifter and there was a Mystery rider. One In the same but not the same being. Great tunes. He was an amazing song writer, guitarist and singer. And artist. So talented. I love his music. I'm trying to find all his songs. If anybody knows where I can find them please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. I definitely am not trying justify what Danny did. It was a terrible and horrific thing and my prayers go out to the victims and their families. I can't even imagine going through what they went through and I am truly sorry for their losses. I know people are gonna get upset with me for saying this but I know danny had problems. If all the abuse by the hands of his father is accurate no wander danny had problems. Again I'm NOT trying to make an excuse for the terrible things danny did but mental illness is a very real and serious thing. I'm glad that mental illness is starting to get recognized and treated but back in the early 90's nobody really thought to much about. I just want to tell Danny Harold Rolling... I'm sorry you had to endure that physical and mental abuse when you were a child. I know that must have been horrible to deal with on a daily basis. It must have been terrifying not knowing when your father (the man that is supposed to protect you and love you unconditionally) was constantly severely abusing you, your brother and your mother. I'm sorry you had demons and you felt the only way to get some kind of relief from your demons was to brutally take the lives of innocent young beautiful people. I believe the REAL Daniel Harold Rolling was actually a good guy. I'm talking back before he lost control. Before the murders I know you did terrible things but if the lord would give you another chance in life. I strongly believe you would live a good life and make something with your music. Well Danny... thanks for the great tunes. Rest in peace Sonja Larson Christina Powell Christ Hoyt Many taboada (I apologize if I didn't spell his name right) Tracy Paules They were all beautiful, young, brave and smart people but unfortunately they crossed paths with a man with a severe mental illness and he took there lives from them and their loved ones. Again I am not trying to justify or make an excuse for Danny. Please dont be upset with me for voicing my opinion. What he did was a terrible thing and I think the state of Florida did the right thing by giving him the death penalty. I am truly sorry from the bottom of my heart for theirs losses. This is just my opinion and I honestly not trying to offend anyone. I apologize for going on a rant here 😁

He was one of the few men to ever be afflicted by a demon so fierce. He called it the "Mystery Rider" hence his popular song. It's sad that people may not ever fully understand why he did these things, however he was innocent at heart. The demon captured him, took his freedom, and led him to kill. He felt guilt for every action, and he had to live every moment in remorse. Which is why when he was free, he sang and wrote. "Mystery Rider" is a message to his demon, asking why he's taking over his life, and wondering how to get free. "What's your name?" He doesn't know the demon's true name, but he believes that it can help him get rid of the demon. "A drifter gone insane" He is referencing himself, how he went from being lost in life to being turned into a killer. "You're a rebel, no one can tame" He's telling the demon to let him go, but no one can control it or repel it. Listen to his songs more closely and you can hear it. He's not singing about having fun being a monster, he's begging for someone to help him...

From what I understand, Danny's father, an abusive cop and dad, may have been the element in Danny's life that triggered the killer in him. Amazing how so many of us have been abused worse than he was, and never turn to killing others as a way to vent our pain. It's sad and yet fascinating to know a person can "cross the line" eventually, into justification - rationalization for raping, killing, and posing for art and shock value, an unsuspecting, innocent fellow human. Young college people. He stalked them, and snaked his way into their homes at night, like a prowling, hungry, bloodthirsty predator. And then, could sing these tunes he wrote, with compassion and spirit. Painful spirit.

With one who has MS in psychology, and worked twenty years in maximum security prisons, schizophrenics can be very creatively gifted . Knowing his severely abusive childhood, it’s not shocking that it would have manifested later on in life. Still, these are psychiatrist disorders; we was a very talented musician; his guitar skills and vocals were incredible. I am not sure that execution was beneficial to anyone but the victim’s’ family. I do understand that; had he been Dx’d and placed on anti psychotics, could have made a difference, in preventing this man to commit to such heinous crimes later.

Do you know that there are laws that prevent grown children from suing their parents? Yes you can sue them for sexual abuse but that's all. If grown, or even underage children had any access to justice through the legal system, things like this might be minimized. The way it is now, if your parent beat the hell out of you every day when you were a kid, you just have to eat it. No justice, EVER. If Danny could have sued the hell out of his father after he was grown, or even prosecuted him, some of his anger might have been minimized, the killings might never have happened. There should be some legal justice for children who were abused by their parents. It is a damn shame what parents get away with. Children just have to carry the anger around for the rest of their lives.

I'd guess his ex wife that he had a daughter with. Otherwise it's probably not any specific woman.

Someone could ask an artificial intelligence to copy the voice, the instrumental, the melody, the lyrics, and remake this same song with the same voice and instrumental, only with better quality

I could never listen to his songs regularly. They’re too eerie and creepy, knowing what kind of person he was. I also don’t want to give him a platform, even tho he's dead

Could have been a nu-metal guy if he'd wanted I guess. He's better than some of them, the playing here is actually decent.

You see he would never make this music if he wasn’t in the position he was … not to mention the song was made before the killings . He was just a sad person who took it way too far . Rather wasted talent than talented serial killer . No remorse for this piece of shit .

No, Bundy was not the "best" at being the "worst". Dean Coryl in Houston, Tx was way ahead of Bundy.

@@KingDanny9 There's a Pakistani guy who catalogued his killing of 100 children. He said it was so easy he could have carried on indefinitely, but his goal was 100 kids, and he handed himself in when he reached it.

I have remors about each monster(S) that I no just kill them but also I block them from even, that is a part of me that no one will ever get. So, what I should do, stop loving and destroy all that existence. Or continue loving inconditionally believing that is the only reason why I do mass civilization(s) killing. Human beings are the most cruel about this they are really not get it, so, I am always guilty when I came here. It's probably why after all this shit going on, I will give so much gift to them with the most important thing a real life to live. Do you think that gonna do it really?
