@@Hell-yeah420.69 I'm not very good walking on roof tiles myself I broke a lot of them when I was a kid and still do. But I rarely get on tile roofs anymore. I'm now a roofer painter the company I work for specializes in coating industrial buildings I roll out about 55 gallons of it a day 🪜🕺 I never did like working indoors stay safe out there ✌️

It’s funny to hear him say that stuff. I heard that when Dolly Parton was in Louisiana doing that movie, she was the only one who wasn’t complaining about how hot it was. They said her guitar was always close by. She would sit under a shade tree and pick and hum or sing something while they were in between takes. She said yeah it’s hot but I was raised with no AC. The other actors would go cool off in their trailers. Not Dolly. Unless she had to change her clothes she was out under a shade tree with her guitar.

Glad he said it, I've worked on a few movies including Avengers Endgame... Chris Hemsworth seems to be genuinely down to earth, approachable etc. But some of the actual crew seem out of touch with reality and wouldn't know the meaning of real work, I'm from a crappy area and have seen both sides but this is genuine knowledge he is laying down.

I've had periods in my life that were very comfortable, but I've learned to really appreciate those moments a man can't just let themselves be spoiled. For 20 days a month, I grind in extreme weather conditions, and for 10 days a month, I focus on articulating my more feminine, creative expression. It keeps me grounded and happy. Operated an aluminum work boat, high humidity, no clouds, 109°, stuck on the water for 4 hours mooring a vessel, covered in cable grease and handling steel wire that's been baking in the sun all day, its high noon and the boat is too hot to sit down. I went from lobster red and sweating, to ghost pale and bone dry. Foreman called me off the job because I was about to have a heat stroke. I can't imagine being on a roof for a few hours like that again, much less all day, I've been scared to do work outside if its over 100° ever since.

That's how I am at my job. I started roofing with my step dad at 12. Then at 16 I went full time with him. Also did siding, porches etc. Then I went to concrete work for about 3 years before I got my union factory job that I have been at for 5.5 years now. I used to laugh when I would be in repair with others and they would cry about being there lol and say I'm not doing anything!! I would always say this is nothing compared to what I've done! Stop crying and do your job! If not then leave so someone else who has had a hard life can appreciate this easy work with the triple pay!! The problem is, you get to comfortable at having it good or easy, then you start slowly becoming that cry baby person! So people no matter where you are in life. Get comfortable at being uncomfortable!! It jeeps you strong and living.
