Danny walks in water!

Ginger cat Danny from Cornwall UK was walking in water, and jumped over the stream! It was wet and muddy. Danny is a clever cat and loved his walk, as always. Towards the end of our walk the path was a stream from the heavy rains, but Dan was not at all bothered. Danny jumped over flowing water! He just enjoys every outing, and at the end he played with a Christmas decoration!

What a wet walk! Danny's just like a kitten at times, playing with the red ornament at the end & negotiating & leaping across the stream of water at the end. He's just lovely to watch wherever he goes & whatever he does. Bless. Interesting brick arch along the woodland path which Danny strolls across at around 2.04 ..any ideas?!😺 x J x

Thank you very much! Danny doesn't show his age at all 😀 That arch is a sort of folly, which originates from the time when these woods were part of the Charles Rashleigh estate, and he turned the area into gardens planting many interesting trees, some it is thought came from Kew Gardens. There are features like the folly that date back more than 200 years, and the steps with a layer of moss that Danny walked over. It is all overgrown now, but that adds to the charm 🐈❤️

Danny, love the way you leap over the puddles - look at them, calculate, calculate- then jump! It was good to see you after, all dry and cozy at home, frolicking with your red ball on the soft fluffy rug! Adventures are so much fun but it’s great to have a warm cozy home to return too 🐈

There has been a lot of rain recently, which is partly why we haven't been able to share Danny's walks. We do walk with Danny in the rain and he still loves it. It is always a wonderful experience for him 🐈❤️

im gonna tell you how i get my cats very happy playing you just need a string pass it under the carpet showing just the tip of the string so they can see it once they focus on it slowly pull the string under the carpet they will jump like mads to catch it before it disappear under the carpet you can spend much time like this cause they love itbut ofcourse nothing would make him happier than his beautiful daily patrol.😎

You are right, Danny's paws are dry when he gets home. The only time we need to dry him is if he's been out in rain and is very wet. That water was flowing down a path and we're not too sure where from. It has rained a lot here recently. In fact it rains a lot in Cornwall full stop 😂

It is a folly (we believe) that dates back more than 200 years to the time when the woods were part of the Charles Rashleigh estate, and were gardens that the Rashleighs could walk around. There are other similar features scattered about. Rashleigh developed Charlestown on the south coast of Cornwall.
