i have nEVER been more upset about anything in my life. This story doesn't make sense because its a RIPOFF of my favorite childhood storybook EVER and it had barely anything to do with Santa (and definitely nothing to do with a farm). Mistletoe was a HERO who almost dies in a blizzard to get three helpless kittens to safety on Christmas night because he grew up on the streets and didn't want that life for the kittens he found. He takes those kittens onto his back and trudges on for MILES without questioning it for a moment because he was *kind* and *selfless* and an *angel*. I got that book in 2007 and 13 years later I STILL can't help but bawl my eyes out when I read it. or even think about that absolute king (I'm literally tearing up writing this. its a little ridiculous). They did my baby Mistletoe so dirty in this movie I cannOT handle it lmao. MY mistletoe would never need a whole song to warm up to three kittens in need. If you see this I'm BEGGING you to read the dumb little children's picture book and forget this movie exists. It's called The Legend of *Mistletoe* and the Christmas Kittens by Joe Troiano sorry for the emotional response I am PASSIONATE about this children's book lmao.

This movie isn’t about a cat finding home. It is about a beloved children’s character attempting to murder his cat, stealing its one prized possession twice in an attempt to freeze it to death, and when it survives, he then tries to kill 3 additional cats at the same time by dumping all of them in the middle of a frozen forest with the first one and leaving them there to die of exposure. Also there is a square pumpkin there for like 5 minutes for some reason.
