Kei car racing looks brilliant. Cars ranging from budget to pretty wild and races from short sprints to multi-hour endurance with a friendly scene.

Really enjoying this video, I’m laughing along with you 😂 Flat out in a slow car, that you can max out in some corners is just perfect. I love it when you can take some corners flat out, on the limit of the car and the throttle pedal 😂

@dannyDC26 ай бұрын
lighter than Alto?
@nuko8006 ай бұрын
@@dannyDC2 The catalog data says 700 kg and 58 ps, and your van type has 630 kg and 54 ps.If that Esse had been made lighter specifically for racing, it would probably weigh 600kg+.Your Alto probably weighs less than 600kg, so I can't really explain that speed difference. I apologize for making a comment without evidence. I've been watching your videos since you were driving the Nürburgring in a DC2. Actually, I am also a DB8 (4-door Type R) owner. Also, I look forward to seeing your DC2 running.

That alto running super lean! (From the spark plug) Hence its way down on power... If u were racing them again, then clean the injector, replace fuel filter and replace the stock fuel pump with walbro 255 They run returnless fuel system, so installing/adjusting fuel pressure regulator is very big hassle
@JesseStreeter6 ай бұрын
yeah already figured that, has new filter (old filter was not dirty) and new pump, possibly dirty injectors? but all exactly the same color on the plugs... has me doubting its an injector issue. Is all dead stock, but budget and care level on the kei cars is rock bottom. Think it will have to live with being a little down on HP (same car did get 3rd in class at a recent 3 hour enduro so cant be *that* bad)
@AmirPomen6 ай бұрын
@@JesseStreeter maybe hook up obd2 reader and datalog the o2 sensor for afr, map sensor reading and tps... I dont think the injector were bad while fuel filter were clean... On datalog.. U want to see almost 0.0psi on map sensor reading at 100% tps... Becaise if the map sensor reading low, it could throw off the fuelling as well.. At the same time a good way to verify the O2 is relatively working good... Not much going/adjustment on these kei car engine hardware wise... Worst case, just get a piggyback greddy emanage and tune them.. (if its allowed) 😬😬😬 Cheers...im enjoying much of u guys content racing in japan.. keep it up
