@@moneymark7660 I was a firefighter I’m not anymore though. I can answer the question for you, basically there is a bunch of different ways. The easiest, go to the closest one to your house and tell them you want to be a firefighter, the one by my house paid for me to go to a 8 week boot camp, and it was awesome!! Basically from there you have the minimum requirements to be a firefighter but that doesn’t mean the classes stop… they never stop. A lot of schools also offer the classes in high school. You could also volunteer for a little while to see if you like it and maybe the department will like you, and offer you a full time job. Hope this helps please ask if you have any other questions

Makes me so sad seeing so many people affected. For many years my dad has gone out with a group of people and would literally fly across the state to go help hurricane relief.
