Oh man, I love this! I had the pleasure of attending the LA screening and it was amazing. The energy was great, we laughed, we cried and felt part of something bigger. Danny is doing something great here. He's not just creating great films, he's inspiring a generation of film makers, myself included. I love his BTS videos, I even made the cut on this one! I always wondered why the title of "KZbinr" had a negative impact sometimes on careers. I always saw it as a new way to market, promote and also go beyond just a resume. You actually get to see what the person is about or who they are versus just highlights on a sheet of paper. Anna Akana is a youtuber and successful actor and the two things help each other. Granted, I do see the gimmick of it, but it's a case by case basis. I don't know. We talk about going off the beaten path, differentiate yourself, create opportunity, but when people do, they also want to discredit it sometimes. i don't know. Anyway, much success and happiness to you Danny. Continue to be great.

What’s crazy to me, as an external observer (& youtube nerd) - and ive watched dozens of your videos, picking up the reluctance to embrace KZbin over the years. To me, KZbin is a high-quality creators mainline to the masses. Mass distribution. If you were going to be average, you were going to be average. If you are Danny Gevirtz, you are Danny Gevirtz. It’s actually the ultimate weighing machine over 2,4,6 years for you to cut through and find your brand, your story, your tribe, & voice. And we’ve seen that come to light here. But when you’re in it, there isn’t that 20/20 hindsight. It’s all a haze of uncertainty.
