I get it, the fans supposedly get an epic battle. Between the two OP entity's. But their talk thing's through. That's nice and all, but their should allow them to fight throughout the Omniverse by changing & destroy Reality and All Nexus and using plot holes , armors and device. And then when he saying to her/ Jesus he really doesn't want to fight or go through with the day of judgment. Than their can start having their talk, and set everything/ The Omniverse and the Nexus of All Reality back to normal. That would make this story be 100% successful and complete if their did this story the way that need to be in the first place and that give it just😊

An ending where they hug it out instead of fighting the battle to end all battles is actually kind of perfect for me. The opposite of what you'd expect. I especially like the part where it looks like the Antichrist is about to defend humanity against the reincarnation of Jesus who's deadset to burn it all down. Perfect subversion of expectations.

I loved the subversion of the "subversion". I was at first in love with how it respected faith. Some things were out there (conspiracy theories) but what's a good comic without goofy stuff in it. That's why we read them! I did roll my eyes when she looked like a heel turn. But the final hug fixed all of it.

I like the ending. They did a good job of subverting expectations. We were promised an epic battle but it was more of a conversation. That being said, I do agree that things were rushed. How Jody went from pure evil to changing his ways happened over the course of a couple of pages, it should have been more fleshed out.

He wasn’t pure evil from the jump because if you go back to the end of chapter 1 where he talks about not really liking the idea that he was the antichrist he basically talked about how he hated it but kind of came to except it as his new reality but most of the stuff that was being done in the middle of the story during Katharina‘s origins Jody wasn’t even a part of most of the stuff you can look at it as someone who’s had so much success I am pretty much is so bored with like everything always being handed to them that they essentially just sit up here and realize that they don’t wanna do it anymore and I think that family of his own was a post nut clarity that well the power felt good at the time absolute power corrupts absolutely but what happens when you feel like you’ve got everything you wanted and more on the way. And not to mention you kinda already had this thought of being the hero of the story

Well spoken that’s exactly how I feel about how the story ended the only things they probably could’ve done better is actually give us a couple of chapters of how Katerina‘s life was going before she decided to turn heel and probably a little bit more expansion on that book and this great game that was going on but other than the meeting at Armageddon and the fight I’d say everything was perfect the only thing that was a little bit cheesy is the hugging it out but yeah everything was great

And the funny thing is for someone like me who likes more cosmic battles this was great where no one had to die no one had to basically get atomized this whole great game didn’t have to start for another 300 years and on top of it no one had to be a loser the truth is is that Katharina and Jody are not enemies they never were from the beginning

John Amos is a real African-American actor. He played the father on a 1970s TV show called Good Times and has since got onto work and movies. I’m not sure if he still alive. I didn’t Google him or anything because I wanted to finish the story but I hope he doesn’t sue Mark Millar. George W Bush’s brother was head of security for the world trade center. Also, his mother bears an amazing resemblance to Alistair Crawley. It turns out his grandmother actually knew the man. This might be a documentary about the Bush family.

To be honest this whole story was great the ending was good although there’s certain places that needed to be flushed out more and for most people who wanted a cosmic battle I am there with you but not really I think it should’ve ended with a conversation the cheesiness of that hug is a little bit like to foaming it in and tugging on the heartstrings but it does feel natural to some degree it’s just the way that it was done was a little too cheesy. In terms of the two main characters of the story Jody and Katharina Katharina ( I know that’s not how you exactly spell her name but I’m not changing it). I didn’t quite really like her character it felt like you know she became more unlikable and I was hoping like by the time chapter 3 came around for the closing act she was going to at least be more likable but she kind of just came off as hateable in despicable even though I get what they try to do with the whole reversing the rules but she still felt like that rebellious girl who never quite really grew out of her rebellious stage of life. jody on the other hand he felt more honest of a character more human more relatable in the sense that don’t give me wrong his counterpart is relatable to a certain degree but it kind of felt like the way she was going about it when it came down to him is like your first instinct is just to destroy the world when you don’t even get a challenge. Like what the fuck? But it’s a good thing they didn’t go down that route where one had to destroy the other and the rules had to reverse and samael and God meet up in the end for it

@@dannymalt I think you’re very wrong about how the ending played out the only bedside say that are rushed were the fact that Jody‘s childhood sweetheart died in a fire or the fact that there wasn’t a cosmic battle when I don’t think that was the whole point of the story I think it was appropriate for how it ended where eventually both god and the devil and their avatars here on earth who were playing this 300 year old great game who would eventually get bored of the conflict and just kind of let humanity continue to grow from their mistakes I mean there’s still work to be done I’m sure it’s like not everybody’s probably going to except this outcome but again what’s great about this is you have two of the greater force is battling each other and then coming to a commonality that they don’t need to keep fighting and killing each other and then basically destroying the world in some crazy biblical battle I think this is a future we should strive to achieve. But I do get that you didn’t quite enjoy it so I respect that but I still think that the way it wrapped up was beautiful a good ending for the people in this verse but I’m sure there’s another verse where basically you get your cosmic battle and knowing Netflix they’ll probably make sure you get that in the worst way possible

Rewatched vol. 1 and 2 before watching this and i have to agree with you on the Rating expected more since vol.1 and 2 had me hyped for something Grandiose. DannyMalt, you have to revisit this again and see if you have the same opinion. I would get into arguments when I would tell family that Satan had a point or that how do you know that in Armageddon, the Serpent that gets crushed isn't Lucifer, but his pride and redemption? To fit the Canon, Hashem has a formula: Keep my Torah, when you don't I will send a prophet to bring you back to Torah. If you continue to disobey, exile. When you repent enough to my standards, you get to come back. That has been the whole foundation of the religion.
