Round 12, 2020 lives in my memory because of the jack newnes goal after the siren against fremantle. Pure clutch joy, when carlton where learning how to be clutch. Round 12 in 2019 against Brisbane also is a good cripps led defeat of Brisbane. No one expected it.

I agree 100%. Murphy's goal the year before in 2019, round 15 was very exciting too.

Been a Carlton supporter my whole life, but I'm only young. I was only really conscious of the footy from 2018 onwards, so here's my Top 5 wins (finals excluded), from 2018 to now: 5. Fremantle vs Carlton - Round 15, 2019: While Carlton vs Melbourne in Round 22, 2023 probably deserves 5th place, this win holds a special place in my heart. With my family around the TV celebrating Marc Murphy's last-minute goal to win us the game... earliest memory of a win that has really stuck with me. 4. Brisbane vs Carlton - Round 0, 2024: After the Elimination and Semi Finals, I had dared to dream and was buying fully in to Flaggers 2023. Losing the prelim to Brisbane broke me, and it was made even worse seeing Collingwood win the flag the following week. To return to the same ground, where Brisbane were supposedly 'unbeatable', and defeat them from 46 points down to exact our revenge... oh yeah. 3. Carlton vs Port Adelaide - Round 18, 2023: The win against Gold Coast revived our season. The win against Hawthorn showed it wasn't a fluke. The win against Fremantle proved we weren't only going to beat up bottom six sides. But the win against Port Adelaide, who were at 2nd on the ladder, in arguably better form than Collingwood, and snapping their 13 game winning streak, that win proved the comeback was real, that Carlton in 2023 could play with the big dogs... and win. 2. Carlton vs Richmond - Round 1, 2022: 2021 was disappointing. Improvements in 2019 and 2020 did nothing, we were garbage (again). Out goes Teague, in comes Michael Voss. I thought that after the annual Round 1 loss to Richmond by 30-ish points, this new coach could really get started. Except the annual Round 1 loss to Richmond by 30-ish points never came. We won. We beat a team who, for the vast majority of my life, I considered undefeatable. This Voss guy came to our club, and in one game had done what we had failed to do since 2013: beat Richmond. The lid was off, never to be seen again. 1. Collingwood vs Carlton - Round 20, 2023: I lied. The lid was screwed shut again Round 23, 2022. This was the most painful loss I have ever experienced. It just had to get us out of the finals, it just had to be by 0.6%, it just had to be against Collingwood, and it just had to be by 1, singular, solitary point. The early rounds of 2023 didn't convince me enough, and the losing streak only tightened the lid even more (losing to Collingwood in Round 10 in a depressing, limp performance made it worse). The beginning of the 2023 winning streak, from Round 14 to Round 19 (mainly just Round 18, see above), proved we still had an impression to make on this season's result. And here was our biggest test: the top of the table, high-flying, 16-2, Collingwood. Every tipper out there going "Carlton are good, but Collingwood are better." Here they were, the team that killed our season, the team that heaped more pain on us earlier on, sitting high and mighty at the top of the ladder. And we beat them. We passed the test. We exacted our revenge. To date, my favourite home & away win.
