Hey Danny, try using about 5-7 drops of water per serving of each coral, this makes the consistency more gooey and easier for the coral to absorb a MUCH larger amount of the roids. Especially for the LPS! Hope you try and let me know what you think!

Hi there. Loving the series man! My only feedback is that you should probably shorten the flashback (i dont know what the word is but it is the thing that shows the highlights of the previous episodes). It took way too long( half of the episode). Anyway keep up the good work and maintanence. Lovin it.

I have a 29 gallon ,no skimmer and only a canister filter. This my second month with 4 small corals and 2 clowns and a nightmarish brown algae on the sand and green algae all over on the rocks. Had to cut down Led light from 9 hours to 8 and get 3 margarita snails hermits and nassarius snail. The reduced lighting has helped as well as the cleanup crew. I hope the best for your tank. I cannot advise since I am a newbie in the hobby.

@mattkrumm81414 жыл бұрын
At one year systems will start to crash , unless you put huge amounts of time into them or go automated with regular water changes ? The live rock will become congested and cause instability . People seem to not understand closed and open systems . Also almost all closed systems do not have the basic fundamentals for a complete cycling system .
@DannysAquariums4 жыл бұрын
Glad I’m putting in a ton of time!
@mattkrumm81414 жыл бұрын
@@DannysAquariums corals are very finnicky but over a long time . Meaning they do awesome and then within a couple of weeks just die off . If you do your weekly maintenance religiously you should be fine , but things will hiccup . Make sure you disturb everything with a turkey baster and clean sponges filters separate from bio filters stagger them so as not to disrupt your cycling ? Protein skimmers do help as does carbon , the debate over these things is based on open and closed belief's . Good Luck 👍
