Starting with two complete cars really puts you ahead of the game when doing this. Complete wrecked VR30 donors are really the way to go for the swap. Yes you have to deal with the dead car after you're done, but damn does it put you ahead. Good work so far, you're going to enjoy the ride once its moving.

That is very good price! In general, any engine swaps is easily 15K or more. That total included the car purchase! What’s more you have a 2023 Z for 1/3 the price! Also you can say “Yeah, I build it” It is a win in my book!

That's a very high performance car for 12k tho to be fair. Tuned up on 93 ur pushing 420-440whp and on e85 ur looking at about 500whp. My q50 is making these numbers. And on that light chassis, thing is gunna fly

Agreed. A GOOD turbo kit for the z(that already has an engine so that’s around $5k) is about $10k. To maybe make 500hp. So spending $10k altogether for the car and swap and making close to 400 is honestly fucking awesome

Yea same here I am all about drag racing so awd is what I’m needing. Drifting this definitely would be cool but the q60 u can get rwd too so just get that. I built my cousins q50 after I drove that after the upgrades and tuned I was sold I’m looking for the right q60 red sport 400 coupe to buy.

I think 10-12k was honestly gonna be the amount, Ima get a 350z again but I wanna put a 1uz in and throw twin turbos but I’m worried about fitment because I had the de model and the engine bay didn’t have the much room and that was just the v6👀

1uz might be tight, VQ’s are pretty big engines tho even for a V6. People have done VK56 so I’m sure a 1uz should be the same size wise I would think

You could’ve bought a wrecked q50 for about 3k comes with engine trans harness depends on where it’s hit at wiring harness and everything up front and still sold the frame to a scrap yard for about 800 and but wait still could’ve part the car out and let ppl come get the inside the doors the trunk the suspension make all your money back plus more and only pay for harness conversion lol
