You’re both right, most people when they go catless downpipe start freaking out because they get a CEL and start doing googles on what it means to have a p0420 code “catalytic efficiency below threshold” AND THEN some people get bad advice when they’re told it’s dangerous to run a car with p0420 always popping up because your o2 sensors adjust your a/f mixture and because it’s not reading properly their fuel trims will be out of whack. There’s only partial truth to this but not in a way that makes it bad for the car…….yes, your o2 sensors adjust your a/f according to its readings in your exhaust stream but as what @BasRikken said it’s the first o2 sensor that manages the a/f, the second sensor which is usually post-cat sensor just sees how efficient the cat is working, and in any case where a car has no cat it will always have the p0420 code pop up. But for any future decider on wanting to go catless downpipes, it’s the best thing I’ve done with my exhaust system and I don’t even run a spacer, my check engine light doesn’t pop up but I do get a p0420 code when running OBD2 scanner, besides that my car sounds fucking sick, and when my mates say “bro can you smell that strong petrol smell??” I just say “yeah bro this thing runs on e85…..” 😎 😎 😎 hahaha…… for anyone wanting to go catless, it’s 100% worth it, and if you live in Australia like I do, you’ll probably never ever get a ticket for it 🤞 🤞

Left my window on my f30 half and inch open went to bed and woke up to a rain storm. My bmw pulled up some red airbag light and got quoted $684 to fix it from the dealer. I drove the car with the error with heat blasted on the floor for 5 days and the code went away 😂😂😂

2:20 you should align yourself to the middle of the trunk, facing yourself to the front of the car. Then you need to do a kicking movement. Not a sweeping or not a kicking and waiting. It should be very fast just like the guy in the video.

Take off those vent covers behind the fog light grilles, you have oil coolers behind each one that needs air, you don’t need to put the covers on it’s only for the cars that don’t have coolers there

Just put a whole can of cataclean when the car has gas about 1/4of the tank and drive 75 miles an hour for about 15/20min will clean the catalytic converter and ur engine light will go back. Hope this helps. Love
