With the opening of Haskyane Legacy Park, having a pathway linking Cochrane and Calgary, Alberta became one step closer to fruition. This section of trail is part of the Trans Canada Trail and links Haskayne Legacy Park to Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park.
We decided to set out with our old mountain bikes and take a ride from Glenbow Ranch to Haskayne. Along the way we got to see the old post office from the ghost town of Glenbow, lots of prairie scenery, and even a couple of trains.
It's a bit of a different adventure but -- as always -- thanks for coming along for the ride!

Alright, Dan and Mrs. Dan out getting some roadwork in. Be great for the health. I hope Dateline has never been to Glenbow Ranch. We're always concerned with your safety. Nice outfit Emily...

@@DanOCan Always enjoy your trips and the production values you have added. You always present your edits in a professional manner and style which is easy to follow and, predict. Which is what you want. Great job.

@@sardu55 Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. I do try and keep it simple when it comes to editing and production. It's way too nice outside to be in the basement sitting in front of a computer.

NICE ride, just my style...down hill 😅 I used to ride my mountain bike alot, but now it's been 4 or 5 years. When we spent winters in Yuma, Az. ( you know, southern BC...) we would ride quite a lot. Enjoyed your trip, maybe do some more?! Note to Emily: keep him on track, even if it's just a ride through the neighborhood! 😉

The biggest downside of biking is we have to leave Mabel behind and weekends are our time to dedicate to her.
