One sleeper pick no one talks about is golisopod, beats gatr, dewgong, diggersby, Malamar, serperior, talonflame , Sandslash, all the fighters , all the mudboys, even clodsire if running sludge , not saying you win all shield scenarios , but at the very least you get a shield advantage out of any of the matchups , I even beat Morpecko in the 2 shield being up energy or calling a fangs bait , as soon as I put it on my team instantly gained 250 Elo to expert , wish I did earlier might have hit legend 😅

nah bro that Starmie is so good. I used to use just Articuno EX as my water card, then I learned how to properly play & Starmie is such a key water type. Sucks that you lose 2 points bc of EX

You said that in order for corsola to win in some of the meta pokemon matchups you would need a 0-15-15 or close to rank one as you can get. My question is do you think a lower rank corsola would still do ok in some of those meta matchups as long as the opposing pokemon is also a lower rank? Just wondering as I really only have what I hatched and they are not good great league stats. Congrats on the 25k

Along the whole “Carbink sims better than it plays,” I think dwelling too much on numbers ignores too much. Character order, successful shield:no-shield guesses, and off-meta movesets all contribute to wins and losses. Like when people were saying Primeape and Annihilape were nerfed. Yes, but ONLY to get them off the non-stop team lists. They were the new Swamperts. Now that Ice Punch got a buff (which I’ve always kept in both of them except in flyer-free metas, that puts them right back in, but now require strategy rather than spam-taps. So yes, there are certain teams that cannot win, but there is NO team that cannot lose.
