Basic idea: - pick a damper suited for your driving - generally, you want to have a stiffer rebound and softer bounce, at a ratio between 3:2 and 2:1 - suspension moves at the same speed either on the street or track - going from oil shocks to gas shocks may raise ride height - body roll is good. Don't go too stiff. Car 1: changed rear tires to improve grip Car 2: changed rear alignment. 2mm toe-out to 5mm toe-in. Car 3: reduced the stiffness setting to the lowest front and rear Additional note: dampers help enter the corner, roll bars help maintain the corner. Basically the lesson here is to get good tires and avoid going too stiff on your parts.
