Julie Johnson Oh my dear I hope things a little better because this not a good year I really am so sorry. This a song that I defiantly want to hear in heaven maybe sung by RO but as long as tune is right. People who appreciate simple tune usually have lovely personalities just something I have noticed... God bless you my dear let's hope next harvest moon the world better place

A magnificent voice.
@Buddy3084 ай бұрын
Maybe the thumbs down was in response to the instrumental part, but the guy is a wonderful vocalist and does justice to Harvest Moon in spite of the weak backup
@rockyvelasquez56143 жыл бұрын
As good as the original except his voice and the instruments can make me cry soooooo beautiful

I love the leader of The Mavericks, Raul Malo. He sings this song beautifully! Amazing voice! Watch him play Gretsch guitar, he picks "two ways". Partly strumming with a guitar pick, then tucks pick between fingers to pick with his fingers. Amazing voice, guitarist & producer. That guitar sounds awesome 👍❤️🎸🎶🤠💃😘🥰 Harvest Moon was written by brilliant song writer, Neil Young.

First time I ever heard the Mavericks was in NC during a Harvest Moon...I will never forget that moment...the song was Oh, What a Thrill...and it was...

We rode our motorcycles and always had the Mavericks playing as we rode. We always said the motorcycle wouldn't start unless they were playing.

The Mavericks and Dwight Yokam with Pete Anderson were my gateway in the 90's into modern country! I've been a rocker, punk, metal head, jazz fusion fan and now working on my first modern country band at 50 years young! Raul a fellow Cubano and what a talent!! My old band covered this song!

I love when you sing to me...... I don't care if I have a couple of tequila's, or have not had anything. Either way, you sound like a genius. I love this song.................it was my favorite Neil Young song. But, when I heard you sing it, I felt, like it was yours. Like it was meant to be your song. I loved it, when Neil Young sang it, but some how, I FEEL YOU SINGING IT. I love every bit every note of this song. Just the best...........................Thank you for recording this, you brought it to a different level. I thought it couldn't get better, but I was a little wrong, sorry, You brought it to little bit different level. I love the song,, And I love this. IT is the version I want to dance to with my husband.

Peter L. Maybe not. Nut you can feel Neil Youngs emotion
@laurielyon77405 жыл бұрын
Peter L. ......Peter.....I could not agree with you more. Neil can’t sing to save his life. Neil Young should be an inspiration to anyone who wants to sing. If he can sell a recording of his voice, pretty much anyone should be able to. In fact, I’d rather listen to his father (Columnist Scott Young) typing on his Underwood 5 than hear Neil’s voice. However, .....this is a good song and The Mavericks do it better than anyone I’ve heard. And it may be the only song Young ever wrote worth anything.
