steamcommunity.com/id/dansg08/myworkshopfiles/?appid=431960 These Cinemagraphs are now available for use on Steam's Wallpaper Engine, although for some reason some of them do not loop properly. As you can see in the video they loop fine in reality, so I don't know why that's the case. Maybe they'll fix it in some way. If you guys install this App onto steam you will have a low-resource using app to have awesome dynamic wallpapers of whatever you want, including these FFX Cinemagraphs! It also allows you to easily upload your own videos/cinemagraphs and make your own wallpapers, even if my ones aren't working properly. Highly recommended, and don't forget to share your own!
@screwball9927 жыл бұрын
They loop alright if you download the ones in your description box and manually add them to Wallpaper Engine. That being unless they have fixed the issue, thanks for the wallpapers though they are quite amazing. Now all I have to do is find out how to put clocks and things in it lol.

It's so refreshing for a man to share his love of a game, for me this would be Skyrim, but for Burke its FFX. And that's awesome!

+Alanna Cookson Hey, thanks for the nice comment. Glad that I've managed to help you enjoy FFX, it's the least I can do for a game that has given me so much over the years. Enjoy the videos :)

Wow they're amazing. I especially like the yuna kilika sunset one and the "Zanarkand" one at the very end. Unfortunately I don't have the software to create them myself but good job man they're beautiful :)
@Dansg089 жыл бұрын
Tamara Merry Thanks :) The Zanarkand one would have been a real beauty if I could get it to loop nicely, but I'll have to make do with the current reverse version, it's better than nothing :)

Theaggyyu haha, great minds think alike I guess :) this might be a good video to share on reddit, i think the macalania one i stumbled across came from there :)

The second to last one of Yuna is definitely my favourite. So peaceful! Plus, it's the video that first got me interested in learning more about FFX. I thought the FMV was so beautiful that I wanted to play it.

I had a crack at the Type-0 shot, as promised. Fast: gfycat.com/IgnorantFantasticGalapagostortoise Slow: gfycat.com/JampackedComplicatedAmericanshorthair Could've gone better, especially with the flag. But I think it's good for a first attempt :)
@Dansg089 жыл бұрын
Theaggyyu Nice, it's a good effort. Like you say the flag might need a second look to see if you can find a better looping point, the fade is noticeable. Also I don't know if you use premiere pro at all but if you do there is a plugin called twixtor that is really effective at slowing down footage that wasn't originally filmed at a high frame rate.
@Theaggyyu9 жыл бұрын
I use Sony Vegas, but if I ever get my hands on that I'll certainly try it! I might try a separate layer just for the flag and have it loop separately? So is twixtor how you managed to get the nice slow effect (as shown at the start of this video) but without it looking choppy? :)
@Dansg089 жыл бұрын
Theaggyyu Exactly, there may be a plugin for vegas too, do check it out. It basically interpolates the frames in between to make it less choppy, but there is a limit of course :) Just having the flag loop is also a good idea.

Theaggyyu I REALLY like this, do you have any issues with me using it for my wallpaper? lol

Trogdor8freebird Oh sure go ahead! :) I'll let you know if and when I make a better version.

I really think that, while beautiful ones are probably the best, "everyday life" ones could be cool variations for the genre. For example, putting Tidus at the center of Luca's Blitzball stadium entrance (with the shops and access to the port) and just looping that part where random people walk around. They originaly loop anyway.^^ And doing it on an emulator with graphics boost mods could give a nice result. Or, if people are moving too much, something like in the lightning fields. No moving objects except lightning. Again with garphics boost. Well, using gameplay itself. That's cheap, I know, but it can be cool imo. Anyway, I'm no editor. I've tried some things and suck at pretty much anything.^^ But still, that was a nice discovery. Thanks a bunch for sharing.

jg pliskin If anyone decides to contribute, you might, but the channel has been so slow recently that less then %1 of my subs have been watching anything I put out. I tried to appeal to the general FF crowd here but again no one is interested. It's exam season around the globe, people are probably busy :)
@aroccoification9 жыл бұрын
Type O is getting very few views in general if you look at other channels especially when compared to other recent releases like mkx so it may be a good idea to add another side walkthrough to pull more views and space out type O so there is more variation in content and less strain on you to juggle projects.
@Dansg089 жыл бұрын
jg pliskin Uploading 2 series at once is already too much of a challenge, there is nothing I'm really very interested in right now until Arkham Knight. I have Bioshock 2 to upload, but that won't get any views regardless, so I tried to throw in something different and still appeal to my fanbase which consists mostly of FF fans. The subs keep rising day by day but I just fail to understand what they want to watch. If it's Movies, I did that too with Watch Dogs when it was fresh and getting good views in general but again very few people watched. I don't really know what to do anymore, I just keep chugging along and trying to throw in something fresh every now and then that I will have fun making (like this stuff which I really enjoyed).

This is way off topic, but in Final Fantasy x I am right at sin but before I try to kill him I want to level up lots. I have Auron's And Rikku's ultimate weapon and that's all I'm going to get until I level up. My question is where is a good place to farm/grind to level up. PS: Super Glad I found you you help me lots with the game :]

When ever i try to set one of these as my screensaver it says the format is not supported. What to do?
@Dansg089 жыл бұрын
+Christoffer Karlsson It doesn't work like a normal screensaver, I believe there are programs that can help you set videos as screensavers, you'll need to do some research. Either that or if you know you're leaving your computer and you want it on in the background you can set it up to loop in a video player (quicktime works quite well).

If you want to try more stuff try to make the caracthers hair move too, might be harder but its worth based on the cinemgraphs that ive seen
@Dansg089 жыл бұрын
Matuiss2 I attempted one of Yuna when she's looking into the distance in the Zanarkand arrival scene, but the loop just wouldn't work and I gave up before I spent hours on it. I didn't try to make hundreds to give others a chance to come up with their on. I just wanted to set the ball rolling :)

Have you heard that the PS4 version of Final Fantasy X having fixed RNG? If you haven't, look at darkkefkas video, and take a look at the comments..

Igor _ I know about it, yes. Very poor on SE's part, I don't really understand how it has happened. It breaks a lot of farming stuff, pretty disappointing. They should realistically patch it, but I don't think they will.
