@BallerTWashingtonАй бұрын
Koppleman knows how not to bow to Soder while talking. No one else does it. Soder is the man but steamrolls conversations basically always, and several times he started to do so in this ep, but Brian rolled over him, but in a subtle sweet way, and Dan recognized it, perhaps subconsciously, and stood down each time. Great conversation!

This is a great conversation about fandom. I love that I got to shoot the shit with Dan at the Sac Punchline, talk Niners but still get to reiterate that you’re my favorite comic & you’ve made me laugh more than anyone else. It’s okay to keep that level of fun & joy about things you like. Also funny because you told me you were leaving Bonfire months in advance. Don’t trust this man with any spoilers. 😂

Dan is the celebrity comic I find the most relatable and accessible, and in the NY class, that’s saying a lot. This pod showcases that more than anything else he’s done.

This was an awesome episode, watch alot of these movies not knowing who made them. I also liked the discussion around perfection, one of my favorite quotes. "The perfect being, huh? There is no such thing ... There is no such thing as perfect in this world. That may sound cliché, but it's the truth. The average person admires perfection and seeks to obtain it. But, what's the point of achieving perfection? There is none. Nothing. Not a single thing. I loathe perfection! If something is perfect, then there is nothing left. There is no room for imagination. No place left for a person to gain additional knowledge or abilities. Do you know what that means? For scientists such as ourselves, perfection only brings despair. It is our job to create things more wonderful than anything before them, but never to obtain perfection"
@chadriegel2832Ай бұрын
I would love a show with Dan, Joe list, Bobby, Luis, and Lauren where every episode leads into Bobby and Luis screaming at each other for 10 minutes.
