These are so good. You really have an eye for this stuff. Just fyi, those CMO hoppers are typically used for soda ash service and before that, they hauled granulated sugar. If you're interested in nasty salt cars, look up HPJX boxcars from about 10 year ago. Lots of old UP, SP and Golden West Service cars.

Great work. Those Andersons hoppers look amazing! And of course, HLCX 6313 was a great video series to follow. Thank you for sharing your work.

The finished product is amazing! I want to take my weathering to the next level like this. When you have time please do a "how to video" and show these weathering techniques. I know it takes hours to do these with proper techniques but I wouldn't even care if its like a 15 part video. That "INTX" hopper is beyond outstanding! thank you for sharing.

If you look back through his videos, you'll see he already has some "how to videos"

Hi Dan did you make the Midwest Railcar (MWCX 500788) white circular decals on a printer (the white circles near the top corners of the trash hoppers) or did Circus City make them? Thanks

Good looking models! Turning a hobby into a business is a double edged sword. Best to get it out of your system early . . . Lol.

That INTX covered hopper is a beaut. I've seen the little 2 bay salt cars Ohio Central brings into Watkins yard in columbus. They appear to be an aluminum/steel hybrid car, the steel ends look horrendous from the salt corrosion.

The hobby is a labor of love. Working on Southern Bulkhead flat cars like #116109. The Walthers 50' car is very close to the Greenville car. The long extended couplers might be a problem. Also the Southern coil car built by Portec #62357 and Conrail coil cars #602334 aren't that hard to build.
