What a wonderful Dive Bar experience and adventurous tour of LA and fun times over the years. Thanks for your special nostalgic call, from the past to current times!

I remember The Rustic, when we lived here - very dark. On Hillhurst I reckon. I would meet my pal the late Ronald Hunter there - he introduced to many bars. Thanks for this memory. R.I.P. Ron.

I was at Tallyrand every week when I lived in Burbank. Best turkey sandwiches!

This warms the heart of an olden Studio City kid. What a great segment! I'll keep my Ernie Anderson/Starlite Room story for another time ;)

7:12 There used to be a video store across the street from the Tender trap in the 90's, a 20/20 video. I worked there for a bit after it opened and one busy Friday night we were playing the Twilight Zone movie. The place was packed and the movie was playing on 8 screens and in an instant everyone went silent, stopped what they were doing and looked at the screen and out the front window and then back to the screen and back to the window and the exact scene across the street.... and as if on cue, everyone started the twilight zone theme, going doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo Hilarious this guy owned the place
