Funny enough I feel like this show is funnier for being restrained from swearing like the movie. It’s not better, but it’s not worse. It’s a different animal and it forces the writers to be a little more clever and creative with jokes.

I was incredibly lucky and caught several episodes of this show as it was first airing. It was great but it was pulled off the air fast without explanation. honestly the second episode was probably one of the funniest and is the best showcase of the very meta humour that the clerks show had, having your second episode be a clip show where you just cut back to the first episode is a hilarious concept and really subverts expectations.
