Weird that her team-up ability is with Black Panther. I would've thought her and Dr. Strange would have a team-up given their comic history. And it would make more sense to bring a tank with you to disrupt and soak damage.

It was datamined that Magik will have the same teamup with Wolverine(tank for sure) and Thor(probably a tank), so it's not that pointless. Hulk+Wolverine+Magik engage sounds fun, doesn't it?

the easiest way to combo a 250 HP target out of existence that I found so far: Shift + eldritch whirl -> E -> left click -> animation cancel melee

Shift, melee, E, melee, right click, melee is also very powerful, doesn't give many heroes time to react.

The reason why she feels weak to you is because you're playing her like she's Genji when you're suppose to be play her like she's Doomfist from OW1. The suggested combo is without a doubt the best for, and can kill tanks if they're not being pocketed. Shift, melee, E, melee, right click, melee. Destroys squishies and really puts pressure on tanks. She's a brawling front/side line hero, play around your team with her, pick a target, combo and leave (unless you see someone very weak, in which case kill them too.) She's just like OW1 DF.

one thing to note is that Magik's E dash has a bigger/better hitbox on the right of the enemy you are facing. I used E next a character's model relatively close, maybe 2 or 3 pixels away on the left and I missed my dash but on the right it is way more generous

Hi, Dantics, just leaving the comment for algorithm and moral support. And to not allow the bots to win. Tbh Magik doesn't have the best run in the comics. To put it mildly. An example of a good on paper character who was given not just bad cards, but bad deck by writers. P.S.: it's weird, but her design made me think of Bellona in SMITE. Are the devs planning to go into strict Overwatch niche of team hero shooter or are they playing with other genres too? MOBA mode would probably be interesting, no?

So, it seems to me that it would bvehoove you to used ranged attacks untill your ultimate is ready and you have allot of bonus HP, then go-in and ult to make it a slaughter fest. Also, using your little demons as defense against anyone trying to go melee on you. @Dantics , Is that about right?

No, the ranged attack is a 5 sec cd. She has 3 dashes with somewhat low cds, the issue when he died several times was that he either overstayed in the fight instead of disengaging or he took all the aggro without his tank engaging first. Definitely a “hit and run” type character when both teams are in neutral, but can dedicate all her abilities to confirm kills when her team hard commits to an all-in.

As fun as melee characters are I hate how useless they are unless you have a coordinated team. Just feels bad man.

I already hope she will eventually get buffed down the line. I have no idea why her right click does so little damage and has a cooldown. It just doesn't make any sense.

shes broken in highrank i doubt they will buff her rank 1 player has like 40 wins 1 loss only using her every game but i dont understand how

It's a pretty awful character. Too little damage, way too easy to kite, and caps HP regen in squishy range. Of course this can be fixed with buffs but as of now it's just a "no upside" character, you can see all the range characters just tanking hits and kiting you the whole time.

That’s kinda funny, because Magik is the character that consistently gets me the best results
