Blessed Samhain Terri, Loll and family. Glad the trip to Berlin was safe and Happy. I celebrated in Costa Rica with a farm to table meal prepared by a very knowledgeable herbalist. Yes the bounty of the land and the gratitude for deep ancient souls who guide us daily seem the two pillars of the cross. I will use maple as Rowan is not here in Quebec. Thank you as always. The frost fairies have painted the garden. Time to start Module 4!

We didn’t do the American Halloween thing this year, we went full boar Celt, no candy, no decorations the lights were off. Instead I made the traditional foods, mashed potatoes, roasted turnips, kale with lots of garlic. I also baked a Maple pumpkin bread. My husband and I had a bonfire in the back yard in our fire cauldron that has moons and stars carved into it. We sat under the stars had lovely drinks and a very good time. We talked about family and friends that had passed. We have two amazing apple trees so there were apple treats as well, thank you for that in depth information, this video was my inspiration!

The cross is lovely, reminds me a little of a 'god's eye' design. If you have a chance would you advise me what to do about a tree that will be cut down this winter? It is a huge, old and sickly elm. I have stood with my hands touching her and told her thank you...please let ALL your energy return to the earth as you go dormate for the winter...as it's soon time for your form to be taken down, but your energy is welcome and appreciated to stay here. Am I missing anything important to add to this? I have repeated it several times. Thanks so much for any help and enjoy your family celebration!

I think what you have done and said is beautiful, so thoughtful. Perhaps make a little offering of flower petals or oat flakes to the tree spirit to show your gratitude for all the joy she has brought over the years. Hello Terri 💗 I’m so happy you share these traditions and history of Samhain. Here in the US Halloween is mostly just another money making marketing opportunity = the children dress up in costumes and rush around collecting candy from house to house (trick or treat). I have been reading about the history / traditions and so thrilled to hear you speak about this special time of year. My great, great grandfather, Thomas Ball (Scots-Irish) was a Mountain Man who settled in Pennsylvania and married a Cherokee Woman Metta my great great Grandmother 🥰. History, Traditions, Roots, Customs have been lost here by design! Just like almost every place else on planet earth. Funny when we were kids our parents would have Halloween parties and we would bob for apples which was lots of fun…knowing where this comes from is nice. Learning about making a Parshal Cross is also a special treat. I’ve been looking at your previous videos also about Samhain which I Love. Enjoy celebrating with your friends and family during Samhain 💗🥰💗 Peace and Love from Florida, US
