It's true and I love that he just goes all in. He asked the question on one of his videos why symphonic metal doesn't catch on in the US. The answer is obvious to me, a long time Metallica fan, it's that we are so damn preciously cool and worried about being so. I love these guys. Erik is a genuinely good human who I nothing but respect for. Leaving the dream gig with Skid Row to protect his health was so brave. As for Dan, I'd like to know more about him other than the fact he has a voice that could do anything from opera to metal. In my opinion, the best rock vocalists out there now are Dan Vasc, Erik Gronwall, Nils Molin, and Dino Jelusick. And props to the journeyman, quintessential Jeff Scott Soto.
