Yogya is different from jakarta Dany. You need to go to: Culinary: 1. Restaurant house of Raminten 2. Gudeg Yu Djum (identic traditional food) 3. Bakpia (snack) 4. Jejamuran resto(you can try all variety of food made from mushrooms, its taste good) Places: 1. Palace, Alun2 (2 banyan trees, there 's a mythos if you can walk passthrough in the middle of those two trees, everything you hope will be achieved) 2. Borobudur and prambanan temple (it's a must) 3. Perak Kota Gede(jewellery) if byanca want to buy some cute jewel) If you want togo to borobudur, better you rent a car for one day. Enjoy yogya dany and byanca.

City of Students, sadly during pandemic they have to study in their home. In normal day, jogja urban life is full of young generation from all around Indonesia even international students. one of the top 3 universities is located in Jogja, the Universitas Gadjah Mada, place where our current president taking his bachelor's degree. I know it's just A languange barrier,but grandpa meant was Rp 30.000, and you have to bergain it. Even for locals, it's nearly impossible for getting price below 10k, even for a minute ride. I saw unsatisfing face from grandpa, but again language barrier, to avoid a misunderstanding, and Sincerity of grandpa's heart. My advice, use bahasa for number to avoid misunderstanding.

There's Ulen Sentalu museum dedicated to a love story of the progressive-thinking Yogyakarta princess. It's interesting to read her love letters and her thinking. The most romantic museum. Unfortunately u can only stay inside with short allocated time since there's quota of maximum people inside while people are lining outside. There's also a viewing deck to watch regular lava flowing from the Gede mountain, interesting to see at night. There are also remnants of a village impacted from the mountain eruption which become a museum

Yogya is my city, dont forget to try "bakpia" its so delicious, bakpia seller location is in pathuk street near malioboro. And dont forget to take the photo at "tugu yogya" thats the icon of yogya, even small but its so famous. Usually i take photo from the rooftop of pizza hut at tugu area.

Visit Surakarta, it's just next to jogja. Not too far actually, you can go there by commuter line (train). Jogja and Surakarta has the similar vibes

You shoud try eat at Raminten Kali uran and Caffe Kebon Ndalem location front of view Monumen Tugu Yogyakarta and more place to visit in Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta is a city of students so why rarely meet young people because campuses are not open yet and students are still at home studying online, there are many tourist attractions in Yogyakarta so we always want to vacation in Yogyakarta compared to other cities

Borobudur, the biggest Buddhist temple in the world, is not in Yogyakarta. It is located in Central Java province, around 45 minutes to 1 hour drive from Yogyakarta. Most of the temples you said are not located in the city of Yogya, but in the province of Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta. And the city of Yogyakarta is the capital city of the Special Region.
