Wait.. I dont understand. You dont use opacity, then how do you blend?

When you take the opacity off, it doesn’t add any additional color and instead acts as a blurring/blending tool instead of a brush.

my brushes are almost always set so that the opacity is controlled by the pen pressure, so that when i press lighter the color is thinner. i "blend" by adding thin layers of color rather than a blending tool
