Hi PETE!! Awesome mug off DEANO 😊 Great video too. Very interesting. I know IPA can be used for stripping paint off locos (as demonstrated by Chadwick taking numbers off. If i ever felt rich enough to buy one then hopefully I'll remember to varnish it first to protect the paint 😋Thanks for sharing this though. I can't believe the amount of stuff it picked up! Sorry to hear about the paintwork. Seems a design weakness if they recommend IPA. I think the washer you asked about might be a spare for under the tank filler cap. I've got one of these wagons (non-DCC) and I only use it as a travelling vacuum.

Hey Pete. Word of warning. IPA is the equivalent of a paint stripper. I discovered this to my detriment and wrecked the paint on one of my locos so now won't use it other than on a cotton bud for cleaning old motors and wheels. Is methylated spirits a less harmful alternative? Thats what i use on my track. Love your mate Bob's message. Merry Christmas my friend. Happy Trains
