The hands up trigger is great. I know people have done it before with boosters/slowsters to create a fake engine, but I hadn't thought of the possibilities with logic. Wp.

The dev not remembering coding something probably means its was a pain in the absolute rear and he did it last minute before passing out and has deleted it from his memory... It was probably back when dapper did that before and had a bunch of people stuck in photo mode and couldn't play the map anymore lol

I support the addition of the "Maki Medal". Just make it to where you cant see the Maki time until you've gotten the author time on the entire chapter or something, like a hidden bonus.

Yay for the win. What I'd like to see when the map maker doesn't win, is the vid end with a clip of the winning lap run. I don't know if it could be automated, or all your buddies record their sessions too and if the winner is amongst your crowd they send you the clip. Maybe this is just not feasible, or not something you'd want to do, I just think it would be cool to see the skills of the winning racer.

Its not easy to do mechanically due to Unity's non deterministic physics. Even if inputs are recorded, minute differences will appear as the track goes on and throw off the run. It'd have to be like a recording of the car's position on every moment and forcefully glide it along the trajectory, but that'd probably in turn mess with some stuff (such as Dappers' triggers here). Soo yeah its just kinda messy to deal with.

You should make a cheese where during the course of the run at weird places you must hands up to cumulatively activate switches that opens a shortcut at the end. So if you take the 3 hidden switches while driving normally, then about 80% before the end, another path opens up for you that has a finish inside and saves you 10-15 seconds.

I had an even more evil idea. Giant arms up trigger that makes the finish impossible if you ever use arms up, then make the map so that people are very naturally going to want to use it at several places! LOL

I was thinking if Yannic could make it so that your character appeared invisible (not appear at all) to others so that you could cheese more confidently, a couple of if statements based on Username/handle and he was unaffected too...

You should stuff a map to the gills with cheese, and have a handful of really fast shortcuts that unless you trigger specific logic checks, will block you from finishing or will kill you in some way. If that makes sense.

my dude. can you make your normal tracks with "cheeses" but the some of cheeses bypass the checkpoints? like you have can still have effective short cuts but throw in some that make it so you cannot hit other checkpoints
