I am praying that you feel his strength with you even now. Speaking in tongues isn't a special blessing that brings you closer to God. At Pentecost, there were people from many different places speaking different languages. The tongues, or languages, that were given allowed each person to hear the gospel in his own language. You don't need a "spiritual language" to hear from God. Read his Word. You don't need "tongues" to cry out to God. He gave you the language you have. He hears your prayers and the unspoken prayers of your heart. Speaking in tongues today is showmanship, not grace. I've recently came back to devotion with God. I would have to say less than a month and been having spiritual attacks, night mares twice so far. As I tried to stand by words for Proverbs. Feel like failing from most of His teachings. Fear of the Lord is first thing I have to acknowledge. Wisemen and fooling men! Please pray that my devotion time will not spent in vain, sincerely love to walk with the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Really want to get free from smoking cigarettes and nicotine vapes.
