The crazy thing they managed to hide all these decades is that Western Cartridge Company made that ammo in 1954 for a CIA contract to combat communist forces in an unnamed country. They were unique because they had the lot codes stamped on them, which were from Lot 6000. Western never made 6.5x52mm before or after the 4 lots of ammo they made for the CIA in 1954. Warren Commission doesn’t explain where the ammo came from. Edgewood Arsenal was able to get ahold of at least 200 rounds of it for their ballistics tests.

I can't imagine that an assassin's escape route would at all include waiting for a bus right after shooting someone ? Does that make sense to anybody ?
@andymark949 Жыл бұрын
Oswald did not drive. He obviously wanted to get to his rooming house to retrieve his pistol, a 38 caliber snub. He retrieved it and hurriedly left the boarding house. It would be easy to think he was trying to get out of town by bus or perhaps rail; Bus more likely. His encounter with Officer Tippit changed everything. You must study Oswald to know his behavior. He was a disturbed cat in many ways. It appears he really didn't have a master plan if he escaped after the assassination. That is not really surprising, although he did reserve just enough cash to get to Mexico City by bus. It is strongly believed that he wanted a visa to Cuba since he tried unsuccessfully a short time before. You must study Oswald from a child until his end. Much of what you draw from the assassination and his behavior will make sense. I hope you find the truth. The Warren Commision findings are, I believe, pretty good, even if flawed in some instances. If you are serious, read all 888 pages. It is actually quite a good read and reveals a great deal that many cynics don't know (mainly because they haven't read it. It's pretty crazy to have an opinion on something not read).
@531ff Жыл бұрын
Agreed , I don’t think he had much of a plan after the shooting possibly because in the back of his mind he would never be able to get a shot off? When he was confronted in the lunchroom I don’t think he showed much emotion because he probably figured he was caught. Once he left the depository he probably was making up his plan on the fly .

In 1947 the president of the Hugh Perry Book Depository, Jack Cason, changed the companies name to the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD). Employees included 21 year old Bill Shelley, Joe Molina, and a shipping clerk named Roy Truly. Five years later, in 1952, most of these schoolbook companies moved from the Santa Fe Building to the first floor of the Dal-Tex Building, directly across the street from the Sexton Building at 411 Elm St. For the next 16 years the office of the Texas School Book Depository Company was on the first floor in the Dal-Tex building. On November 14, 1961 Sexton Foods vacated the building at 411 Elm St. and moved to a modern distribution facility on Regal Row, in Dallas. The building remained vacant for over a year, until Jack Cason (President, TSBD) leased the building from D.H. Byrd for 15 years--purportedly for a very low price. In early 1963 the 60- year old building underwent extensive remodeling and was refurbished with new interior walls, partitions, updated lighting, plumbing, sprinkler systems and, perhaps the most important improvement, air conditioning. Carpeting was installed in offices on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors and a lunchroom for office workers was added on the 2nd floor. A new stairway at the front entrance provided access to the 2nd floor, and a newly installed traction-type passenger elevator carried office workers from the 1st thru the 4th floors. In the northwest corner of the building was the old wooden stairway and two open-gated freight elevators (one facing west; one facing east) that provided access to all floors and were to be used only by warehouse workers. The only other means of access to all floors of the Book Depository was a fire escape, attached to the outside of the building on Houston Street. In the summer (1963) the Texas School Book Depository Company moved their company office from the Dal-Tex Building into the newly refurbished building at 411 Elm, and soon became known as the Texas School Book Depository building. Other schoolbook companies also moved into the newly refurbished building including Lyons & Carnahan, Southwestern, Allyn & Bacon, MacMillan, American Book, McGraw-Hill, Gregg, and Scott Foresman. Soon, there were seventy-seven people working inside the newly remodeled building--office workers in the new offices on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors and warehouse workers on the 1st, 5th, 6th and 7th floors.

The fact that most people inside the book depository did not hear shots being fired from that building says a lot. Everyone would have heard it very clearly from inside and out. Important to note that when an employee when with a police officer immediatly after the shooting and found Oswald in the lunch room he looked relaxed? If he heard shots fired and he would have, he shows no sign of panic or stress. Instead he walks out of the front door and gets on a bus. He may have then realised something was up that involved him, though up to this point not a single indicator. I think he then puts two and two together and thinks shit whats happening. They most certainly heard the gunshots. There were 2 men on the 5th floor right up under Oswald that heard them and also heard the shell casings hitting the floor
Those old black & white photographs make it very hard to distinguish any features. Case in point, @13:25, that is a photograph that is the most important of all, in trying to determine any conclusion, nomatter which view you take on the assassination. I'm not sure if a color photo would improve the situation, but it certainly couldn't make it any worse, in separating the facts from fiction.

I don't mean to be disparaging, but if you haven't at least read the Warren Commision Report and Case Closed, your beliefs simply don't mean anything. Sorry. Don't say you want the truth if you haven't. Oswald did it. No conspiracy, no question. Please read, please. Nobody liked or trusted Oswald to go to the store for them. Then exits vestibule into main office space, sees secretary, exits then down stairs at south east corner to 1st floor and escape by main door. If LHO actually fired any shots or not lol.

The motorcade route in the paper Saud 12:15 pm they would be driving past the tsbd. At that time, Oswald was seen eating a sandwich and drinking a Coke. That is because LBJ hit man Malcolm Wallace and his fingerprints were found in the 6th floor.

I could never claim to know...exactly who the shooter or shooters were. However...I find it quite odd, that Oswald got caught un the Texas Theater. The whole thing just stinks of incompetence. As smart as Oswald was...how in the world...could he have been so miserably inept at getting away? I truly believe...if Oswald, when he left the building...had simply, and calmly mingled within the street crowd...he would have never been caught. A hat and sunglasses and overcoat, in November would have been easily overlooked by many, as just another man...standing amongst thousands of others...looking around. I just don't get...Oswald being that reckless. He did however...get caught. Call it destiny...call it Divine Intervention...I just do not know. Clearly...it is a corrupt world we live in. No one...as long as they are part of "mankind"...can truly be trusted. I certainly...do not trust the government. Men are wicked...whether they are part of the government or part of the criminal underground. Criminal, mobster, politician, cop, district attorneys, plumbers, mechanics, and even your "good 'ole boy" neighbor Joe...has wickedness inside him. I could believe just about anything "went down" with this assassination. The whole thing is a mystery...and very disturbing.

Like he protested and not one bit of evidence that has his finger prints official from the pistol or even the rifle, now you tell me in any court in the world, the court would let him go, because of the chain of evidence and also the evidence gathered has no chain of custody can be presented full stop, which is why the WC report is not even a legal document which can be used in a court of law ? Also more importantly why Mr Cester brought in two rifles just two days before jfk was to drive right past the TSBD bld and not one person rang the police to mention it and yet the chief of police went on TV just days before hand to say that he did not want anything to go wrong with the visit like when atley stevenson event etc. Yet what are the odds of a person bringing two rifles to work to show your boss ie: roy truly and why roy truly did not call the police or even for your own peace of mind and everyone knew jfk was going to drive right past the bld ?
