Kamata and all that Gerezani area was my childhood area zone, I grew up there in Railway Cottages together with Ally Kiba, near Gerezani Railway Club! And it’s even not far from the Tanzanite Railway Station 🚉, you just walk approximately 5 to 10 minutes to the station. We also used to go inside Railway Boxing Club🥊 to train the heavy weight boxing fight back in the days 🤩😍! The area reminds me of the beautiful memories of golden age we had! KAMATA means “KAMPUNI YA MABASI YA TAIFA” or in English “NATIONAL BUS COMPANY” I haven’t been back there for many years now and I really miss it so much 😃! I don’t know if that Railway Club with the Boxing department still exist or not 🥹!😍🤓

That road could be 8 lanes. Six lanes are not enough for the big city like Dar and considering that road connects to Julius Nyerere Airport. But anyway lets appreciate a little we have.

8 lanes are not realistic for a poor country like tanzania
@magazijuto799129 күн бұрын
@@hk254lyt8 Actually phase 1 of BRT system is being expanded to 8 and 10 lanes where there are brt stations. (Kimara to Ubungo) joing 8 to 16 lanes Kimara Kibaha highway. I don't know what you are talking about. ati.poor Country. A poor country with more than 150km of BRT system (6 to 8 lanes), 12,000km of tarmac roads, longest electrified SGR in Africa, longest bridges in E Africa, Largest passengers ships in Africa? Go heal bro

Really good progress… took them 4 years to complete phase 1…but they r not wasting time now… when I pass through city centre I see all roads broken but it is for the future… 2 more years and I think dar will be good with road infrastructure… still lots of work but can do… work needs to speed up…really fast

Dar Es Salaam, Dodoma and other major cities in Tanzania 🇹🇿, needs Trams, Light Railways And Commuter City Trains With Possibly Underground Tube Trains! Will help speed up development as well as easing a movement of people travelling towards different directions, remove congestion, overcrowding, stress and making it simple for businesses activities, work including daily activities in peoples’ lives! #LETSBUILDFORBETTERFUTURE#

Two lane roads are FINE. They allow to move trucks and those few people who need to be in a car. All that money you save by not having to build (and maintain!) much wider roads, need to be invested in sensible mass transit systems. They transport more people more efficiently. In a growing city, you can never build wide enough roads for cars because of induced demand. That being said: Tz is going in the right direction! Love it.

Dar needs major freeways roads and electric metro train systems to tackle its population.

Kudos Brother. what i love about these videos of yours is the bigger picture, that in a few years (If the Lord Jesus Tarries) they will be an excellent way to look into the past! I Will pray that you get a drone soon maana i would love to see ariel shots of now and compare them (If the Lord Tarries) to the ares later down the line.. IPS: Good catch, yes the trees make that place look gorgeous, i hope more ares will have tree also!

Should be 6 lanes road not two lane roads
@jesusbrother768428 күн бұрын
They should have built express way alongside with “Light Railway 🚃 together with tram services 🚊 linking to the Airport ✈️! Because that area is absolutely massive and very beautiful! It’s not good for two lanes! Planning needs to be reviewed again surely! Because we’re building for future and not for today only.

Great contents brother.... Would happen to know if phase 4 involves construction of fly over along Mwenge /Sam Nujoma and Morocco junction?! And I did heard TRC MD saying we are going to have light city railway from tegeta to City, does the current construction left some space for that railway?!

Nairobi is very small with it’s small express way, if you pick it up and drop it inside Dar Es Salaam, it will get swallowed up and disappear to the point that you can’t even find it 😂! Just imagine, Kigali is even BIGGER, beautiful and much developed than Nairobi 🤣 So think twice before opening your mouth and talk “blah blah blah” 🤓

Nairobi hosted a full blown civil war in 2008 and still managed to be the most developed city in EA , 60% of east Africa's foreign investors are in Nairobi. Do you still think Dar stands a chance now that we're holding our leader more accountable ?
