I don’t understand ‘why’ other teams fans feel the need to ‘hate’ other teams in the competition. Especially as the majority of AFL players respect each other as competitors, they’re professionals and understand the dedication the sport requires to play at this level. Yet it’s the ‘fans’ that take it to the level of hatred which is just makes no sense, rivalry is understandable but not ‘hating’ a person because they play for another team which is beyond childish and simplistic. Collingwood are playing an exciting brand of football, it’s entertaining to watch even if you’re not a supporter of the team.

Well said Darcy. I love ANZAC day. It seems to be the only commemorative day left that isn’t ruined by alternative agendas or some form of political correctness. It simply brings us together and reminds us of what a great nation we are, thanks to the sacrifices others have made, and still make. Aside from dawn services, 95000 people standing silently, respectful, and reflective. What other occasion brings us together like that?

It's all in good banter and nothing malicious. I only know a small portion of things they do for the greater AFL community which is already a lot.
