This is my home park and I agree that this ride is just ok. I usually only ride it once or twice a season because of the horrible capacity. I would not wait in the queue longer than 15 minutes for this personally. A couple of seasons ago they actually had VR on this and the lines were horrendous.

One small error I'd like to point out is that the layout actually isn't original. It's actually a variant of Anubis at Plopsaland de Panne, only that one has a launch and a top hat instead of a lift hill. And a very powerful launch, too!

i went to sfog a couple times this year and im headed back in july (i love my homepark, if you cant tell) and i was so sad i only got on daredevil once. the line was always actually insane, and the second time i went it was out of operations i guess?? it was started back up later that day but then it began to rain, so that was unfortunate. im super excited to make my friend (who is GP and thinks he's going to die) go on every single ride with me later this year.

I rode it last year. It was my first time in six flags Georgia. It was my 2nd to favorite coaster there after Goliath. The drop was my favorite part of the ride. I thing I agree with you is it's a sort ride but I really enjoy my ride on it. I rode back left during the day.

I've ridden Anubis The Ride at Plopsaland in Belgium, which has almost the same layout, but with a launch that sends you into a near vertical ascend and a twisted descend. After comparing POV's, it also seems that is has a slightly better pacing and speed (since you go over that top-hat with some spare speed). I found it quite intense actually. The Plopsaland version pulls about 4,5G's, and especially that launch is quite intense. It would be a great ride (considering that it pulls -1,5G on the top-hat, and I know that because there's a video where somebody has measured the force during the ride), but sadly it feels and sounds quite cheap. For example, the wheels aren't really tight on the track, so you can hear the trains falling on the upstop wheels during the inversions. And as with most Gerstlauer's, the banking and especially the transitions aren't necessary good.

I agree with you on this ride. It has been my only Gerstlauer so far, so I have no others to compare it to. It was a good ride, but it didn't wow me. I was far more impressed with Goliath and Mind Bender. But it's a fine fit for the park, and I think a ride like it would make a nice addition to one of the parks closer to me.

I think you were expecting a high thrill ride and you got a entry level looping coaster, I look at rides like these differently, they act more as good rides to get into rollercoasters and build up to the bigger rides, and I actualy think more parks need rides like these for the people who want a calmer ride and arent looking to getting thrown around as much as enthusiasts are like on rmcs. I have 4 friends that love batman the ride at sfne but hate wicked cyclone because for them it was just too intense. Every park needs a ride that appeals to everyone, and I think you were i bit hard on it because you didnt look at it in the right way.

OK is correct, it's a carnival coaster. I've been on it twice only because I got there early before the line was long. Each time it was a one and done on the way to Goliath. Probably won't even bother the next time.

I'm curious to know this too. Daredevil Dive was closed when I went to SFoG last summer, so I couldn't form an opinion on it. I think my #2 for SFoG would probably be Superman, but Mind Bender is a strong candidate too.

I always found the cars to be interesting. I don't understand why they went with the lower capacity cars at a park that tends to get more visitors than other parks that have eurofighters.

IMO it's at least a 7.5 to 8. Those lapbars alone give it the edge over most OTHR Eurofighters (Mystery Mine, Spongebob etc). I rather ride something smooth and forceless the jarring and headbangy.

I gotta say this is one of the most disappointing rides in the park, the best part is the vertical lift and then it's just over in like 10 seconds. Superman is probably my favorite ride in the park next to the Monster Plantation.

It is probably one of the smoothest rides in the park, and there is practically no noise from the wheels running on the track. It doesn't roar, vibrate, or anything. Then you have Batman and Georgia Scorcher which are really loud.
