He was about to give up singing and get a factory job to support his family. He took one last trip to Tennessee to meet with a record label. The guys listened to 3 songs. Told Toby, he doesn’t have to right sound. In his flight home, the stewardess new him from performing in their home state. She brought his demo tape to a record label guy in first class. Toby was signed and those 3 songs all went number 1 on the bill board charts.
