Jamal, just love Toby Keith and he was everything you mentioned and so much more. We all wish we were once what we used to be, at one time or another. However, when our Good Lord blesses us with life, no matter our age when we are finally called home, we still need to give thanks to our Father, his Son (our Savior) and to the Holy Spirit for each and everyday we are given. There are so many that die way too young, especially our blessed children. We miss Toby Keith and are thankful for his legacy of great music, fun videos and how he can lift our spirits when we need it the most ❤. His passing has hit me hard, but when I turn on utube and I have all of your great reactions to make the hurt a little easier to handle, I am grateful for the entire village that makes it all possible. ❤ Thank you again, ready for another one Jamal. Please give my love to your family, and may God bless all of you.😂❤😢🎉.... Brenda from Knoxville Tennessee. 😅

Toby's videos were always very entertaining. In addition to being a superlative story teller, Toby was actually a great actor. I grew up in the 60's and 70's, the golden age of rock and roll. But the first time I heard Toby's "should have been a cowboy" I was hooked. Now I listen to male and female country most of the time. Toby was a true blue American patriot, God, Country, Family. I spent 24 years in the US Army Infantry and his unfailing support for us endeared him to use more than anyone else. Toby loved us and we loved him back every bit as much. RIP Big Dawg, I hope to meet you on the other side.

Toby has a ton of funny videos. He passed at 62. For his patriotic side, check out the song he wrote after 9/11. 'Courtesy of the red, white & blue, the angry American'. The video & song is outstanding & it shows how much he loves his country & the troops. Then he did a beautiful song in tribute to his friend Wayman Tisdale, called 'Cryin' for me' & I have played it a few times the last week, because his song to Wayman is how I feel about Toby. Again, the video is wonderful. Then for more laughs, check out 'Trailerhood', 'How do you like me now?', 'Who's your daddy?' or 'I wanna talk about me', to name a few. He also has a great duet with Willie Nelson called 'Beer for my horses' & the video is like a movie. ALWAYS get Toby's videos. Nobody does it better.

In 70's, they changed how songwriters go paid, from paying by the song to paying by the lenth of the songs, hence the song going from two and three minutes to four and five minutes long. FM helped cause the played the longer songs. Caused a stir in radio industry, longer song ment less ads.

Toby was a true gem of a man. Patriotic to the core, soulful when it was needed, and able to make you laugh without really needing to try. Another person like him would be Brad Paisley, and just about everything I said about Toby Keith applies to Brad, but add in that Brad can whip a guitar like it owes him money and make it sound sweet! He does the funny, he does the soulful, and he does the patriotic, and he and Toby should have done a few duets together. RIP Big Dog Daddy!
