Jon Bernthal did an absolutely spectacular job conveying all of the emotions (e.g. anger, grief, emptiness and etc.) that Frank's character had to be experiencing given the tragedy he suffered; which is why most fans of The Punisher series wanted Jon to return to the role once Disney acquired the rights to the character because no one could do a better job portraying Frank than Bernthal did. Jon really set the bar high as far as fans expectations of what Frank Castle should appear like in live-action cinema!

Been a huge Punisher fan my whole life, the movies were fantastic but no one could do Frank like Bernthal. He's one of those actors that once he plays that character no one else will ever get close.

Love the reaction and all but I have to address one thing [perhaps you've already realized it in editing]: Frank didn't hand Matt an empty gun. There was one round in it, which Matt used to free himself from his chains. He knew it was *now* empty when he pulled the trigger on the bikers, because he'd already spent his one round. But Frank was absolutely intent on making him kill. Please do not mistake that.

hey guys, love your reactions! just wanted to point out if you havent been told before to watch defenders before getting into daredevil season 3 since the ending of defenders leads directly into season 3. you dont necissarily HAVE to watch the other netflix marvel shows (Jessica Jones, iron fist, luke cage) in their entirety to understand or enjoy defenders but ig gives you a good background on the characters and thir respective corners. also if youre interested in it, the punisher series is also really good and takes place after Daredevil season two. thanks for reading!

I love how real the writing is in this show like nothing feels forced except for the Karen stuff imo but I mean it all feels natural even the small bits of humor they have between them like Foggy and Matt and Karen all feel comfortable in the same space as does all the other characters & the events that happen. & Matt needs to learn to trust his friends more like it took him almost dying in his apartment for Foggy to finally find out after college years, & Matt’s probably never gonna tell Karen . I love how investigative Karen is tho like she could be a PI instead of a lawyer & the detail they had in Franks kids room was gorgeous , & Elecktra is hot once you see more of her & between her & Frank they both bad ass
