I actually remember watching a trailer of the Batman crossover of Superman the animated series on my "Batman beyond: Return of the Joker" and "Batman and Mr. Freeze: Subzero" DVDS back when I was younger, and I thought it would be a movie since it was called The Batman/Superman movie, but now I see it was actually four part episodes of the animated series of Superman, and since I'm 19-years-old and I get to learn things I couldn't before, I get to understand a lot of things from the movies and TV shows I've watched, and the things I had grown up with such as learning definitions of words I never heard anyone say and other things like that, and since I got to learn a lot of things in high school which I just graduated from just last month on June 21st, and of course Superman the animated series was never part of my childhood.

Batman is literally a ninja. To be the best vigilante possible, Bruce perfected himself in all aspects of fighting crime: Psychology, showmanship, escapism, detectivism, espionage, forensics, gymnastics and much more. Regarding martial arts, he trained with the best teachers of each style around the world. He knows at least a little about all of them, took the best of each and created his own fighting style that he taught the Robins and perfected over time. It has been stated several times in the comics that he raised his body to the peak of human physical condicion without any kind of special enhancement.

These shows are nothing short of Art, with a capital "A", created by people at the hight of their powers, who genuinely love this universe and these characters, who're bringing them to life for an entire generation, and generations to come. That's why this cartoon stands the test of time. A hundred more years of Superman and Batman could pass, and everyone will still be looking at this series as a blueprint on what to do, and what not to do. It's funny, I remember when Superman and Batman aired weekdays on Kids WB, they alternated between the two shows, and had one single theme song for both that was, of coarse, a banger! If I recall correctly, both Superman and Batman aired new episodes on Saturday mornings, no alternating. They got to share that day. What was great about it was that if there was a week when Superman aired Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Batman aired Tuesday and Thursday, then the next week, Batman would air Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Superman took Tuesdays and Thursdays. They were always treated equally, even by the network.

The twisted thing about the dynamic a More importantly, the line that Bruce says " It's ironic, you know, she likes Bruce Wayne and she likes Superman. It's the other two guys, she's not crazy about." Is that Batman is who Bruce truly is at his core and Clark Kent is who Superman truly is at his in other words Lois likes the masks the two heros put on not their true selves
@Avenger854386 ай бұрын
What I love about this is that both heroes are portrayed as equally capable. In crossovers there's sometimes this temptation to make one look better, or just to do so accidentally, but here both Batman and Superman have both their strengths and weakness on display, letting us see how their different skills compliment the other.
@fireeaglefitnessmartialart9356 ай бұрын
Kinda why I like the part when bats says, "you're learning". It seemed like even the writers were finding the balance for this animation.

I really do appreciate this movie and how great it is seeing Batman and Superman team up together in the the DCAU and show why the two are such a great duo and start their friendship. I also love the team up between Lex and Joker since the both of them are just as entertaining together as Superman and Batman together. The only thing Id say that I don't really love is how this film tries a bit too hard in making Bruce and Lois a couple when we all know Clark and Lois end up better together so, not to mention it kind of makes Bruce a bit of jerk since he's literally stealing Clark's girl in front of him for no real reason. Granted Clark shouldve made his move sooner and not let his insecurities get in the way but than again it's still kinda a dick move from Bruce. Would highly recommend you guys also check out Batman and Superman: Public Enemies which is another great Batman and Superman team up movie that really showcases how strong their friendship truly is

You had a fantastic conversation at the end :) You totally understood the characters! The only thing I disagree with is the statement "Superman is easy to beat when you know his weakness". It's not true. Green kryptonite has been around for 80 years and it has never defeated the character. It is above all a screenwriting tool (which never has the same power) which allows the screenwriter to save time when the script needs to slow down Superman to give the adversary time to almost achieve his objective lol But when the screenwriters want Superman to face Metallo, power-suit Lex or another kryptonite man, they do not hesitate to show Superman gaining the upper hand. Because he is not stupid and he is capable of surpassing his limits.
