As the owner of a MK7 GTI for the last 6 months I feel like it’s the perfect all-around car. Good utility, performance, practical, and economical. Also, the design is sporty but also understated. If I really want to drive conservatively I get 37-39 mpg on the highway.

Totally agree with everything youve said! I’ve been so pleased with the car so far and it’s exceeded my expectations! The car really does everything you need it to
@saldorado30962 жыл бұрын
Totally agree. The price you pay for the level you can get these cars to is a no brainer. So many people making 500+ stock motor and no problems

Yes, good deals are out there and mileage shouldn’t scare people off. These are stout cars

I have a Mk7.5 Golf R but definitely agree. Amazingly practical car even for a small family, and still very fun.
@DArias2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely!! Couldn’t agree more bro! (Sometimes I lowkey wish I bought a 7.5 R 🙂)

@@DArias there's always time! I wasn't fussed about whether getting a GTI or an R except I didn't want a GTI without an LSD. Funnily enough in Australia they sell more Rs than GTIs so I actually found it easier to find a good R than a GTI. The other problem is that GTIs are legal for P-platers (young drivers if you don't know) so they're much more likely to be thrashed or modded poorly. I still love the GTI though! They're awesome cars and I definitely would have been happy in one.

It’s tough to say the market has def been correcting in the past few months and if it’s true what they say about carvana for example going under you may be able to snag a great deal if you wait a bit

Is 110k miles 2016 gti se $16k is good price? Or over priced? Thanks in advance

This is off subject but I finally went Stage2 on my Mk7 gti. 1st Catless then 100 cell Depo Cat. The fumes are so bad that I'm clearing lanes on the hwy & cars trail me frm a mile back bcus of the smell. ? which 200 cell d.p would u recommend that's best at lowering the cat smell?
