I'd like to have this waifu commander but can't afford it atm. I've got "Orc Boy" but haven't used him or put many resources into upgrading him, mainly use Tyrwhitt (think that's the guy). Quite the team you had there ( know the feeling) but GG on your part. Thanks for showcasing this commander👍

I would use Orc Boy if you can put resources in. He buffs the fire chance to absurd levels, and I got a Witherer in this match with like an 8% for chance or whatever the base fire chance is on Daring. With Orc Boy, I think the fire chance is like 12%.

Grotmaz is very very good for he damage and fire chance . Can't remember if ot gives range or not

Great video. If we could put guises over these commanders, I might look into buying one. As it is… I’d just feel kind of gross. No judgment on people who dig this kind of cartoons, but it’s just not my style.

I recommend for you to change your settings so you won't hear their voice. Also side note I find it funny that people are bothered by a 2d in a video game. Are you a pedo for using a commander that has the best skills for your ship? No. It's only weird if you start doing odd things when looking at them.

I agree. I wouldn’t use them if they didn’t have good skills. For some reason, I can hear the commander voiceovers even though I know for sure I have them turned off in settings, and it’s irritating.

Makes no sense that historical commanders that actually existed who put sweat, blood and tears serving their nation by risking their lives can simply be replaced with some non existent guise, but some random weebs get some op skill set and not be able to be covered over

I wish we could put guises over these commanders. If u have grotmaz that commander is already strong for he fire change range and he damage. The blue commander is all about reload which is nice

I meant to last week but I couldn’t seem to get a game where I could actually farm anything. Mostly because everyone wanted to instantly sink and go back to port on one team or the other.

I just put a load of resources into Grotmaz Smart, aka "Ork Boy". As you said, you get a higher fire chance (2% max), but you also get 15% HE damage - down side is +6% incoming damage. Depending on your choice, it's kind of six of one, half dozen of the other.

Ooooh I forgot he buffed the HE alpha too. But yeah. Then it’s a trade off. Either you’re getting base DPM with better fire chance and damage, or you’re getting the base damage and fire chance numbers with higher DPM.

The fact that perceptive is in the 3rd slot with the concealment buff is imo not a good thing does not make a whole lots of sence for me... I value concealment

It is for me, because I’m usually stuck between choosing extra DPM/range or Perceptive, and now I don’t have to make that choice. But you’re right about the concealment thing. That isn’t as big of a deal to me. I don’t always spec fully into it which means with this build on the Daring I do often get out spotted, but there are ways to deal with it.

She looks decent, but I can’t stand the voices, I have to listen to them enough as is. Orc boy, with burny Dakka, and WITHOUT, the legendary fire chance perk is what I run Essentially a Daring Mortar build, but instead of +4% detection it’s +6% damage taken Your HE shells hit for some insane damage, and then flip to AP on broadsides
