This ship was intended to be a "Cruiser-Killer" due to the building of the German Panzer-Schiffs. It morphed into the Dunkerque class. It was not intended to fight batteships or very large battlecruisers. If it encounters those big ships it would RUN!

One thing i do find funny about these chonky bois is their concealment is pretty much on par with the Italian cruisers. Since the French cruiser captains get go all out, i just find it funny that you can have one of these things steaming around at 40+ knots while potentially having a sub-9 km detection. I'm running Roux (R16L2) with Mikawa and Mimbelli on mine. The concealment thing potentially gets even more ridiculous with this setup on the Toulon, although i don't have her myself. I could potentially get to around 7.7km detectabillity on her (with everything maxed). Probably the only good thing i can say about Toulon based on her stats.

On the dispersion, the French super cruisers have Battlecruiser dispersion, wg reserved the cruiser dispersion for the Russian super cruiser the T10 (on pc) Sevastopol which is armed with 380mm guns (no Russian bias at all)

I got the 5-win assignment in 6-7 games and found the ship fun. I tended to try to put an island between me and the other two caps, angle just enough to not give a strait shot to my citadel, through the nose, while jockeying position. while also ducking into cover. my damage average was disappointingly low, but enemies were spending so much time trying to citadel me that my battle ships did not take a lot of damage. This could just be players not knowing were to shoot, but it really seemed to take a hit well. used Saint Louis commander and only had first two mods slotted. played the way I thought Siegfried would but couldn't.

They feel a lot like the Rooke, it’s horrific bow/stern armor and average dpm cripple it in certain situations.

I think what kills this ship is the fact that it is just a dunkerque at tier VII. For me it lacks a better reload and a third turret.

The reload needs to be 5 seconds lower base and if they can increase the bow armor to 27mm.

Lemonyay is the right choice but with Scott and membelli. I would take the movement speed.....over pens are an issue so don't make it worse. I think the ship is ugly, so I won't really play it. I am very shallow lol

Yea....grabbed the daily Santa crate....it got a lvl3 box...lvl 3 got a lvl 4....lvl 4 pulled and Odin...not bad for a freebie

Hey spartan! I’m curious about will to rebuild, I recently got it and I use the North Carolina. But it doesn’t seem to work, matter of fact it doesn’t seem to work on any ship I have the commander that I have it on assigned to every ship I use. Texas, North Carolina, sometimes Nevada. It doesn’t seem to work on any of them and i don’t know if I’m doing something wrong. Anything will help. Also I’ve been lucky enough to visit the North Carolina, and soon the Wisconsin because I am between the two!

The better you do in battle the more you earn. However each game there is a service cost as soon as you enter the match so you've got to do enough during the match to get more silver than you're spending. Early on its best to try to grind to tier 5 on lots of lines to gain experience on how to be effective. Because the service cost goes up with each tier.

It's a super cruiser as it has battleship guns. The normal French cruisers have 203mm guns so they are heavy cruisers

Ohio is not available in crates. Ohio is purchased for 15,000 Ice Crowns (winter holiday currency) Although the you can acquire more Ice Crowns with crate purchases most of them will be acquired though the campaign with admiralty backing.

Only way to get it is buying it with Ice Crowns. If you grind out the Campaign with admiralty backing and Advent calender which is free provided you login every day and do the missions. You'll still need to buy I think 10 x3 crates so around a total of 15000 doubloons in total as long as you grind out the Campaign
