I almost lost all hope, probably this game will fall before WG decide to give Us some tools to deal with Subs and CV's (real tools not some ilusionary buffs to AA and ASW)

I agree subs are annoying and make it frustrating as a DD player to be able to play on your side of the map, but I think CVs are way worse for this game than anything else. Great video and game!

True CV are even worse, my take on this is : subs are like HIV there are treatments, no cure but You can live with them , CV's are like cancer depend on how good of a CV player they kill You slower or faster but they will kill You anyway. Now anyone tell me that You want any of HIV or Cancer in yor life ?

These are ppl who loved to torture kittens and puppies when they where children. Psychopaths who want to feel untouchable and like to torment others. Thats why everytime WG makes CV's and subs more balanced, suddenly number of ppl playing them drops drasticly, normal ppl has no reason to play it because it's no fun and psychos lose their fun because they are no longer untouchable.

"My hydro dosnt work against Submarines" Uses Hydro and immediately spots the Sub. xD I honestly dont see a problem with Subs, the Punish over extended ships that are far away from team mates, they are easily dealt with by surface ships by either destroying them, or forcing them to dive and run away. The biggest issue is that Sub players dont know how to fight other Sub players and with the introduction of the 3km arming distance on sub Torps its even harder for a Sub to kill another Sub. CV's on the other hand are just painful to play against, you have absolutely no defence against a CV, Anti air guns dont ever do enough damage to completely destroy all the Planes and you cant even counter attack them because they are hiding behind an Island on the other side of the map.

I spot him because He (like most sub players) was an idiot and stayed on surface when closer then 5,6 km away (hes spotting range). Belive me Submarines are the problem , they don't punish overextended ships, they just stop your play and any aggressive moves. You basicly can't do shit (exept runing) until You or one of Your team mates kill them first and You can't kill them unless they are idiots. I can fight DD's , cruisers or BB's in my daring, I can do damage to them but I can't do shit to sub, unless hes total noob that let's me spot him and even then i can shoot him couple times and he just submerges. P.S. If You are unlucky and You get someone with brain in a sub in enemy team You can't do shit. You kill all his teammates take all caps and still he can survive and reak havoc.

My thing with subs is even if u win a flank or they over extend, they can spot me for free or deal damage to me from a distance unspotted but I have to be right on top of them to hurt them afterwards and that if I can find them. Most of this could easily be fixed by subs having to deal with increased detectability when submerged for speed but I had wasting my time casing after a sub that is max depth that can move 20kn . Just give dds the proper passive tools to deal with subs. Especially for dds that were made for the purpose of hunting subs

@@death00124 Yeah you're not wrong, id like it if it was something like Torps take forever to change depth so firing whilst fully submerged needs to be dont at long range, so Subs need to be at periscope depth to hunt Ships. I also agree that DD's should have better Submarine Spotting and cruisers should have better DD spotting, since thats pretty much their whole role in the game. The amount of times i have been ontop of a DD in a cruiser and still couldnt spot them is insane and its the same for DD's and Subs. Detectability as a whole needs to be reworked imo, if i can make out a Church on an Island why cant i see the massive ship infront of it?

@@zrise8023 I get why they have that balance for dds when it comes to detection, since if u fire or get radared you're lit up for 20-42s which is a ton of time for cruisers and other dds to light up an enemy dd. My issue with subs is that since their maneuverability changes BB's or heavy cruisers have a hard time hitting them with depth charges and often don't give enough of a threat to for the sub to fuck off. Even if u win a flank a sub is a massive pain to find unlike a dd and subs are more of a danger to dds than the other way round. Which should never be a thing. Like dds avoiding radar cruisers subs should avoid sub hunting dds and we just don't have that rn

@@death00124 True subs and cv's could be fixed, but sad truth is they will never be fixed. Wargaming put subs and cv's in this game for one reson only and it's money grab, if they fix them they wont be their cash cow anymore and that's why it will never happend. WG it's creating problems with subs and cv's so they can sell You ships that counter subs or cv's (allegedly look at anti-air ships that can't do shit to cv's). Maybe WG will do something when they lose 70% of player base but then will game will be dead anyway (it almost is dead today)
