I had my hair to my backside for nearly 15 years , i had it cut last week and i love my new short hair. It took me about 3 months to make the decision to cut it , i had a niggle that kept telling me to cut it for months on end , so i finally bit the bullet and made the call. I was nervous as hell when the day came , but I'm so glad i did it. I've had more compliments in the last few days than i have in my entire life. I've lived the long haired male life , I didn't want it any more , but making that decision was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make.

@@nicoelgreeko ... the rule for barbers is you go to whichever one has the worst haircut! Gone for the chop yet? In September I'll be 45 and it'll be 25 years since my hair was cut short, about 6 years since it was cut at all. I was big into drums so it was kept short enough that it could be out without getting tangled up in the equipment (snare tuners etc). Now I can just about sit on it, so in the gym I'm the guy on the rower with a baseball cap on and my hair under it! I get the odd chemical burn from shampoo and it's a pain to dry, but rarely do I think of getting it cut. If I start going bald it's gone, but as things stand I probably look younger because of it so it stays as is! :)
