i’ve had my locs for 3 years now. I just wash them separate my sections and put them in two strand twists. I wanted them when i was younger too because my parents always made me get the number 1 bald cut🤦🏾‍♂️. I feel what you’re saying about working and having hair in your face lol. I’ll probably cut them if i go into the military though. I dont care what people say about locs being unprofessional,(dreadful) or whatever so i’d never let another person make me feel a type of way about my hair.

Hair in the face is the most annoyin part 😂 but yea I lowkey avoided the military because I would’ve had to cut my locs 😂 wish they let u keep it aha but I hear u on that! Dreads can b professional

@@lyricz4224 I just cut mine off five days ago and I had some patches I grew my locs for seven years and I miss em like crazy I’m bout to regrow my hair out again 😂

I’m white so I never had dreads but grew my hair about the same length yours was at for the same reason about looking cool under my helmet but I cut it to look more profesional in college. Definitely miss it all the time but don’t regret it because I can look fresh in 1 minute compared to hours when I had to wet my hair, brush it, then let it dry
