I love pretty much all Darius music, Zunata is amazing. G, Gaiden and Burst are their best. I really like how unlike the original Gaiden you can actually hear the songs much better; at least with my Taito Legends version the tracks are so low

I swear this Phantom Castle is glitched (albeit in our favor). He's supposed to blast those stupidly annoying pink homing lasers every time he goes up or down. You think it was intentional for this level as an 'easy' setting or glitched. I say glitched because he's literally the only one that doesn't do it

Out of curiosity, how much of the enemy attack dodging in this video is memorisation as opposed to reflexes? Do enemies have randomised attack patterns? Or do they always shoot the same way every time. Also I sent you a complicated question in PM about something unrelated.

+Morninglord22 It's a mix of both. Attack patterns are not randomised, but many attacks are aimed directly at you. So you have to switch between memorisation and "shot herding".

I bought this the moment it hit Steam, I've just been far too busy with work to play beyond a first dabble. :( I don't even know the system. Looks simple enough though. Going to try finding something on shmups.com

+ShadowDariusEX That would have been a glorious touch, but the music simply depends on the course you select. As this course is part of the Gaiden timeline it has the Gaiden music.

+Saur lol no, it has the gaiden music because the PRESET ship is the gaiden, besides gaiden happens between darius I and darius II

I wish, but at the same time not really. I would love to play Suriaha or Airuka with Genesis and hear the klaxon for Bite and Nightmare as Adam plays
