okay but if you like dark academia, Regensburg in Germany is a beautiful town with medieval, gothic and baroque architecture, as well as some of the oldest taverns in Germany and a large number of bookshops. My mom lives there and I used to go there for the holidays, but I couldn't this year unfortunately.

I was so fortunate to actually be able to go to Edinburgh last year, it was such a pretty city, rich with history, aesthetic, and overall really cool and immaculate vibes god I really miss being able to travel :((

Dark academia opened my eyes to a world I never thought existed. I've always loved the style of clothes, the hobbies, the music and the whole aesthetic but I never found the name of it or even the combination of these things. I am truly blessed by dark academia as it brings me a way to express myself. I have a academia/vintage/cottagecore stationery kit on my Etsy linked on my yt channel that was truly inspired by dark academia. This compilation took me back to when Dad told me one day that she made a promise to Mom if she drew a map for a D&D Oneshot, he'd take Mom & me to Europe once they've retired.
